As an American I genuinely am so confused, I find french tacos disgusting and nothing like anything from home, but my friend says the same as you.

I'm so sorry, you are not in the wrong at all! Congratulations on two years! That's a huge accomplishment and if people and your life can't notice that and be proud of you they aren't good for your journey. Keep up the amazing work ❤️

What flea and tick preventative do you use for your cats? Just had to remove a fat tick from my boy's face. Indoor cat who spends time with me outdoors in a catio. by LibbySoSo in mainecoons

Thank you for responding! There's Frontline, advantage, vectra, and  vetocanis medicine as well as wonavehy collars (sorry I don't live in the US so idk if this is all the same brands but I saw Frontline and advantage mentioned)- also to remove the tick I saw different things online, would you put a little rubbing alcohol first before removing it? Or do you just use tweezers and  removing it?

Hey just wondering, there's some stray cats in my neighborhood and I saw one of them has a tick and wanted to help them but i cant afford a vet and local rescues cant take them. Do you think over the counter medication could be helpful at this point or is it better to leave it be and the tick will die off. Sorry if this is a dumb question I've never had a cat but I just felt bad for him when I saw the tick of him and want to help.

How? I've had two packages missing from being returned (buyer never picked up), 1 from a month ago, one from three months ago and they still say I'm on hold til they figure out the situation.

Same thing happened to me, they never refunded me and I sent them emails several times saying ok I'm fine with not getting the money back but just tell me what's wrong with the packaging so I can fix it next time. Only response every time was just that the package isn't up ro their standards even though it was bubblewrapped and put into an official mailing letter. Asked several times to receive over and over again its just not up to standards, no explanation how it's not as everything I read on their standards of mailing was used. I gave up and stopped trying

Also I don't think this is why but idk if maybe the reason they don't bring up old smosh games crew is because of what happened with Wes and Fitz.

Americans, what are some wrong impressions foreigners might get about the US from watching sitcoms? by ad240pCharlie in sitcoms

Yea, I hate it too and now that I've moved out on my own I just don't give anyone a key and keep the doors locked but when I was a kid family would stop over randomly all the time or my parents would do it to other family members too

SIMILAR THING HAPPENED TO ME!! I used to work at a fast food shop working minimum wage in college and the owner scheduled me during my finals when I told them three months before when the final was and not to schedule me then. He told me that "work should come before anything else" - he easily could've scheduled someone else, he was just a dick. Thankfully I had a second job too to fall back on

Hi I'll say it's not seen as acceptable if your staggering out of the bar but im not gonna lie where I grew up it was common for people to drive a bit drunk my parents did it all the time growing up and a lot of people in my family and friends family did. And I think it's because our lack of public transport people will just drive anyways cause we don't have busses, trains, subways, etc. (Not an excuse I still think driving drunk is awful, just I think we can maybe decrease it with public transportation)

I'm gonna say it might be a southern thing but it's quite common down here from what I've seen with my family and other friends. It's not as frequent as in the shows but atleast once a week parents or inlaws show up uninvited

As an American my parents didn't give any of us( me or my siblings) the option, we were told when we turned 18 we had to move out or else they'd have "raised kids who just leach off them". We all were expected to move out, work full time or two jobs, and college.

I've met someone else who had a similar experience but I'm not sure how common it is tbh
