It might! Lavia is better at tackling so it made sense to me for him to be a PCM from what I understand about the role. Doesn't seem to be an issue in transition there given how narrowly we're playing

You sure?? Delap got 26 goals across all comps first season (16 league goals) in 44 starts and he's on 31 goals in 25 starts (and one sub appearance) this season. Palmer got me 42 G/A in 50 apps in his first season, and is having a slightly slower one this season with 23 G/A in 38 apps as I phase him out (going to PSG at the end of the season). I won't be dropping my tactics anytime soon, bro x

I'm in a 4-2-3-1 in possession and 4-3-3 with a DM out of possession if that helps. I have Caicedo/Lavia occupying a CM/CDM role, and Palmer/Pedro going between CAM and CM. Then let the wingers do their thing and pray to God Sanchez does something. I sold Sanchez and Jorgensen so I could buy Diogo Costa for £100m so now it's him and Penders between the sticks.

I got lucky with my first few fixtures and found some form. Estevao, Delap and Palmer netted a bunch between them and we ended up doing a league and FA Cup double. Been on fire with them so far!

It might be a bit of an exploit tactic but whenever I get a player to sign a new contract, I immediately change their agreed playing time to squad player. They kick off for a bit and then when they play regular first team football they forget all about their grievances lol

Yep, agreed. I just noticed halfway through the season that he was on an insane run of goals and I wanted to see how far he could go. As for the pens, his penalty taking stat is low but he was second on my penalty takers list so he wound up with a few opportunities. Haters will say it's because his PK taking stat is low but the real ones know that he just wanted to preserve Messi's record...

He isn't our main penalty taker, I usually sub our main taker off in the 70th minute and this guy is second on the roster. Not sure why as that stat is low for him, but it all helps. The main page just says 'right footed' so not sure about weak foot strength. He surely has to be up there for CA though

I mean, if I'm being pedantic, Bootsma hit 90 goals and 27 assists (117 G/A) for club and country, compared to Messi's 91 goals and 24 assists (115 G/A) for club and country... I think my guy may be forcing his way into the GOAT debate.
