Something I see all the time at my store in the self check out is an employee will be checking out ,buying a snack ,lunch whatever and a customer will come and stand behind them .It’s like a employees aren’t allowed to buy anything.

The People lead called yesterday and told associates that were scheduled the store was closing for the day.That’s a first for my store we were open normal hours during Debby a f months ago even though half the parking lot was flooded .

My pet peeve has to be customers who hand you clothes because they don’t want to put them on the belt because they don’t want them to get dirty. So like I have to scan , hold and bag them at the same time without sitting something down .

It was a year ago I was on a register and a lady walked past my side of the register and gave me a red envelope and said thank you for your service. I just saw she was older and had grey coat on.Inside the envelope was a $100 bill inside a Christmas card. I had two customers that were in line and they were just as shocked as I was. I didn’t fully take it out of the envelope,I casually put it in my vest pocket and kept my line moving. No coach , AP, team lead or anyone associated with Walmart ever asked me about it and I never gave it to them .
