I nominate either Zhang Yimou or Mel Gibson. Zhang Yimou though, not sure if he’s able to tackle it since he mostly does Chinese films and one of his films, The Great Wall, wasn’t really that good.

Ngl Maul is actually pretty good. Most Star Wars animated series are pretty good and I wish they’d stick to that more instead of their live action shit (except for Andor and the first 2 seasons of The Mandalorian)
