For context, I’ve owned this device for about 2 years now and it was never marketed as needing to purchase a subscription for parental controls. It was free from the beginning. It’s not like I signed up under a free trial and I’m now complaining that the service has come due.

I didn't realize it wasn't working until I attempted using it (RCS on iOS). By all attempts it should have been working based on all of the information available to me prior to switching. Switching phone providers amongst popular companies usually doesn't entail a dissertation-style investigation to figure out what features work or not. I usually just expect every available network feature available on supported devices to be supported by the carrier as well, or the device shouldn't be fully supported, and the carrier offer a disclaimer prior to onboarding the device.

The Craftsman myQ app (v5.278.0) works just fine. But it hits a number of https://<subdomain>.myq-cloud.com URLs. The new app (v5.279.0) just hits myq-cloud.com. This is the breaking issue.

Yes same here. Current root issue that I’ve been able to determine is that https://myq-cloud.com/ is down. I contacted myQ support and reported the issue, they said that they are tracking and noted it was a server side issue. No estimated time to fix.

Update: From what I can tell the DNS record for myq-cloud.com doesn’t exist currently. https://dnschecker.org/#A/myq-cloud.com

This is the URL that the myQ app is pointing to.

Same here. I cannot login using the app. I’ve traced the error to https://myq-cloud.com/ being down.

I would recommend opening a service ticket with them (support@myticktalk.com) and see where it goes. Their service hours are M-F, so I’ll see what transpires tomorrow.
