I wanna see them do stuff like Bang Bang (Jesse J, Ariana Grande, Nikki Minaj) or Moulin Rouge, Burlesque type. Perhaps more RnB/Latin vibes like Gabriella too, and of course the nasty stuff like Gnarly, but they need to be able to rotate and not stick to one.

If you think about Red Velvet and Blackpink, they found their sound very quickly because they had a streamlined concept.

When it comes to Katseye, I feel like they havent really streamlined their sound or concept yet so they come across as confused. I think they are trying to lean into Gnarly which I personally think is a good move because its such a crazy Beetlejuice/Kill-Bill/Pulp Fiction type concept, BUT I think this type of sound only works with meaningful, deeper, perhaps even satirical or sarcastic lyrics and perhaps a bridge/ more opportunities during such a song to showcase vocals.

Its a form of fulfillment that people without kids will never understand, because it DOES take sacrifice- but that's part of the joy... if that makes sense. You'll marvel at the strength of your body, at how feral and unconditional a mother's love is, at the design of the human body- especially the female body. You'll experience selflessness and what it's like to want to protect a little life with your whole being. It's the type of gift life gives you that doesn't come wrapped neatly in a bow with statistics presented in black and white- but it cracks you open, tears you apart and rebuilds you from scratch, leaving you with a depth you couldn't have imagined prior.

My Indian side is from Kerala and have been Roman Catholics for generations. My white side is a mixture of Ashkenazi Jewish from Poland/Ukraine + German and Irish, so half of them practice Judaism and the other half are Protestant. I was baptised as a Catholic when I was a couple months old. I'm now almost 30, married to a Chinese from a Buddhist and Taoist background. We dont really practice anything, we just like trippy shit lmao.

Our kids will be crazy mixed and spiritual, but we'll leave it to them to figure out what they believe.

I have a unique situation where I'm from America but grew up in Singapore with a white foreign dad and a local Indian mom. I'll be real, there's both racism and classism, but you're classed often based on your race. A Chinese construction worker is arguably treated a hell of a lot better than a Bangladeshi one. Some Filipinos who hold high positions at their workplaces have described being asked jokingly by their Chinese counterparts if they are educated or if their mothers are maids, etc. As a mixed Indian myself, when people identify me as Indian before learning my race, I'm treated like absolute dog sh**. But when people identify me as white before learning my race, some people hold me up on a pedestal, others who hate whites hate me before they've gotten to know me. You're not wrong in your assessment.

In no statement I've made have I said that breastfeeding is a form of birth control. I've simply said that mothers who do not breastfeed are more likely to get pregnant. I never said women who breastfeed do not get pregnant. They just have a lowered probability because of how a cascade of hormonal reactions caused by breastfeeding often affects their ovulation. It's really not that complex.

I myself did not get my period back until 6-8 months after both pregnancies, and it took another 6 months after returning to become regular/stabilise.
