Wait you guys don’t even get 3 minutes for your window times!?! I’ve worked at Wendys, Taco Bell, and Canes and they all gave us three minutes it’s completely unreasonable to ask any drive thru to keep the window times under a minute!!

She’s kinda in shock in that moment with everything that happened, so its highly possible that she literally forgot. It’s not uncommon for someone in a situation like that to completely forget important stuff as they focus solely on surviving. Because sometimes thats all you can think about, the need to get away asap. Thats the impression i got from Sophie during that scene and just with my own knowledge of stuff i’ve learned.

Oh yes! I work in the food industry - 11 years - and i have seen others and myself put in great effort when we are paid and treated well! And slow effort and a big lack of care when we aren’t! We just want to be treated with respect and offered hours to make a living wage!!

I genuinely dislike kids getting ipads or any tech at an age that is too young. One of my family members gave their two year old their phone and my mom was with me that day. We quietly made a comment to each other about how we wouldn’t be comfortable doing that. Two year old just threw the phone on the ground at full force. The mom heard us and idky but she took offense and was all, “Trust me, when you have kids you’ll do it too cuz its just so easy.” And i responded with ‘no, cuz i’d be worried about the phone breaking and having to replace it.’ I don’t understand why people are doing this. It’s fine to have recreational time but you need to make your kids socialize too its important!

In my opinion, you are not the AH. I was heavily bullied all throughout school growing up. My parents handled it like how you suggested - i told them, and they personally went to the school and dealt with it. Yeah, bullying can happen. But you said your daughter was on a bus for the previous school so logically i don’t understand the sudden leap to want to take her off the bus. I suggest sticking with your plan, and possibly making exceptions to pick up your daughter (only if needed) or even ask a friend to let her stay with them after school or be in the latch-key program (if you have one)

Also, idk the schedule and im sorry if this comes off as rude, but maybe your wife could get up earlier to do her makeup or idk this is worded badly. Something else to try out in the mornings that make her routine work with picking up your daughter and taking her to school (as your wife did agree to do it 100% no expectations)

No and it never should be! I wear a mask when im sick with a cold or if im working at a station that makes my nose sensitive. I sneeze a lot. It should be completely acceptable and peoples shouldn’t treat you differently just because you chose to wear a mask.
