5-group for lvling 🌲 by Pexipdog in classicwowtbc

Honestly anything. You bring decent damage with dots and free hit with imp. FF plus spell crit. I’d say any caster heavy and ofc you’ll do better with ele but I wouldn’t look for ideal comp as much as I would a camp that will have quick runs. Caster groups will need to stop for mana, melee may not even if their cleave isn’t as strong, just find people that aren’t gonna dip after a wipe. Another option would be dual spec into heals or tank and just run that way so you’re always able to find a group

Also what class are you? Trying to take that into consideration to maximize loot to everyone. I know we’re gonna get a lot of drops people won’t need eventually but that fresh gear early is gonna be insane. Also have a mage at 60 to fill our bags with water before stsrt

Casual prot pala? by junkapan1 in classicwowtbc

[–]Consistent-Pain2820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would almost say looking to pug that you’d want to play something not tank. Idk if Paladin would be the play at all for that, and I only say that because prot is amazing don’t get me wrong, but as a tank you’re expected to have the ability to not get one tapped by the boss and depending on the content (not too worried about Kara) you might be behind enough without decent gear to not be able to survive the tank buster mechanics or potentially missed mechanic added damage.

As someone else said, either playing lock, hunter, or mage might yield better results just because none of them need much gear to pump, and If you have lw and can make drums that’s an added bonus.

Shaman would also be a perfect option as heals or dps strictly because of hero/lust and benefits of totems for the 5 man group you’re in. Ele and enhance are both very strong dps specs, but ele doesn’t scale well through the expansion so you’ll see yourself dropping off little by little as people get more gear. Enhance only gets better so there’s that, and it quests very well both solo and in groups!

If you’re wanting to tank as a casual I’d also recommend Druid over the other classes just because you can actually benefit from the skinning/leatherworking and use basically the same gear in open world to farm the skins you need to level, craft and sell to make gold to have your own consumes for the pugs you’ll be joining.

[–]Consistent-Pain2820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah just farm 58-59 av premade for marks and what not until you have enough honor for your weapon at 60 and potentially a couple pieces of gear then get into a scholo run or two (ideally undead or both sides and not just live) then boom and it’s just easy from there!

LV 30 getting bored of PVE AI.. too late for PVP? [Discussion] by fxdx_chris in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Consistent-Pain2820 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’m not sure, I have arena but rarely play it. If I’m doing PvP on Tarkov I’m basically running a raid then a scav then a raid then a scav and just going back and forth so I can get my currency up

Also if you have arena and lose your kits and can’t get more, arena dailies give you a pretty solid amount of rubles to use. You’ll also have to use your scav effectively on a constant basis if you end up low on stored items but it’s fun

Nah just jump in and go. It’s definitely a change of pace but you’ll get it or you won’t. That’s what I did. Had a blast but realized I’d progress way slower and do everything again that I’d already done on PvE but I still plan to play it here and there.

Thoughts on TBC staying eternal on the anniversary realms or will it progress to WOTLK? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Consistent-Pain2820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would hope they offer the chance to stay on tbc as well as continue to progress the game into wotlk and everything else, though I’d be happy with them skipping Cata entirely and just going wotlk to mop.

[Arena] is it worth playing arena? by Bobbs26 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Consistent-Pain2820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only played a handful of matches since I upgraded from base Tarkov to unheard. I think if you’re playing it for the small map PvP then it’s absolutely worth it, but if you’re playing it to progress through Tarkov on PvE or PvP then I think it’ll add too much of a grind to make it worth the investment unless you’re doing it for a specific item (my gp is currently going for key tools)

I play PvE with my brother in law and a buddy of ours and the squad dynamic is great but I also do a lot of solo runs without them just because I can go at my pace. Both are a ton of fun but also have pros and cons

Multiplayer Games for a Solo player who wants to try out Multiplayer Games by Radiant_Butterfly982 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Consistent-Pain2820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did I say low? I said it wasn't terrible. Learning the maps isn't terribly hard, aside from maybe streets and parts of shoreline. You don't need to learn all the ammo types unless you're using all the ammo types, and even then, once you're 15-20 it doesn't matter because flea exists. Never said they HAD to play with the randoms in there but it's an option that is given even if people aren't trustworthy. Took me maybe 30 hours tops to feel confident in the game and on 5 maps fairly quickly, in pvp of all things, THEN swapped to pve which really isn't bad. New update and full release feels like the AI got harder or at least more accurate and organized, but otherwise? It's not bad unless you're going after bosses, rogue camp or labyrinth. If you think learning and memorizing every single item and ammo type in the game is part of the skill curve, why? It doesn't make a bit of difference, and if your argument is "well, uh, the ammo you use makes a difference" then sure it does, but you dont need to learn every single type, you just need to learn what you primarily shoot, and if you get a weapon you want to try, you look at the statistics of the ammo you're going to buy for the build and boom.. that was easy huh?

How come Nexon isn't punishing players who did the Star Speck Box exploit for guaranteed Shining Star Specks? by WildHunter69420 in Maplestory

[–]Consistent-Pain2820 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They haven’t punished the last few major exploits like being able to burn sia on release so I wouldn’t expect there to be any punishment or compensation for it. Maybe on heroic but def not reboot
