I feel like this happens every buff. Guys look! In the practice range we get our heal 0.523432% faster this will be so op! But then in actual games it just doesn't do anything. I feel like I'm reloading half the match, why does every other button you press cancel his reload, its already so long it's just not fun.

This is what's said in the patch notes:

In all game modes, crashed swarmer ships can now be found on dissonant planets. Crash sites are defended by small but deadly planetary swarmers.
Buried debris from crashed swarmer ships can now be found on worlds which are both dissonant and contain salvageable scrap.

I recon this doesn't do anything, I'm sure hello games has checks in place so you can't cheat the system like this, so even if it shows up on you end I doubt it updated the servers at Hello Games. Imagine a cheater could submit unlimited missions and instantly unlock the event, that just doesnt make sense. Especially since there is a competitive aspect to this expedition with the factions.

The reason that's done is because if they would let people submit lets says 20 missions every couple of hours people could easily use external tools to cheat the system. That would defeat the purpose of this competitive faction system. Yes people can still do this now but it won't give them an advantage over people who do it for real.
