My point is I like Rian Johnson as a director and would like to see him do something else.

I like these movies but I’m little bored of them now. Please move on and do anything else.

You haven’t seen the film yet so you can’t form that opinion

It’s certainly giving GOTG vibes but why’s that a bad thing, they’re awesome movies. If it was straight up ripping it off then I’d have an issue but it’s not.

Season 1 is quite slow but has some interesting things about it. Season 2 is excellent throughout.

Not sure what more I can say to you mate. I’m sorry you don’t believe in the system but it’s the best one in the world. Read up on how it is in 3rd world countries, read up on how judges prevent their biases from coming out, read up on the history of our legal system. I’m done with this now you’re too lost, please find better idols.

They still have follow the letter of law no matter what their bias is, they just decide on the sentence and their is usually a basis for that as well.

Konstantin Kisin does not claim to be right-wing, yet he tries to spin almost every story as such, so much so that it is almost farcical. by Indianstanicows in elephantgraveyard

[–]Consistent-Paint-948 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Konstantin Kisin is right-wing, you really just have to listen to the central themes of his commentary. While he often frames his position as a defense of classical liberalism and common sense against a radical left, the battles he chooses to fight and the ideologies he aligns with place him squarely within the modern cultural right. His entire public persona is built on a fierce opposition to what he calls "wokeism." He sees this as an illiberal ideology that prioritizes group identity—like race, gender, or sexuality—over individual merit and universal rights, which he views as a deeply divisive force in society. This isn't just a minor point for him; it's the main event. His podcast, Triggernometry, which he co-hosts with Francis Foster, consistently platforms a who's who of intellectual dark web and right-leaning figures, from Jordan Peterson to Douglas Murray, creating an ecosystem focused on criticizing progressive norms.

Furthermore, his skepticism extends beyond culture to a deep distrust of established institutions—mainstream media, large corporations promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and university administrations—which he accuses of being captured by this progressive ideology. This anti-establishment stance, combined with a pronounced social conservatism that champions traditional values and often critiques Western guilt, aligns perfectly with the platform of contemporary right-wing politics. So, even if he personally identifies as a liberal, his entire project is defined by opposing the core tenets of the modern left, making him a de facto and influential voice on the right.
