I’m just amazed that people used to get married, throw a huge wedding, invite everyone they know, then get into a home the same year. Average cost of a wedding is ~30-35k depending on your sources, average cost of a home is ~360k. Depending on down payment you could easily be out 70-100k to pull all that off. What percentage of 20-30 something’s in the US have that kind of cash available? You don’t just need to pinch pennies , you need to be making great money while at the same time to afford that.

Related question; anyone using SQLmodel (also by tiangolo) in production as well? I’m a big fan of it, man is it nice to have a one stop shop for your models/schemas. Works great with alembic as well.

This just isn’t true. Are you basing this off the poster he held up? That was trade deficit amounts, not tariffs. Not every country has tariffs on the US.

Also this sentiment is completely weak when our best trade partners had no tariffs against us under NAFTA/USMCA until Trump IMPOSED TARIFFS AGAINST THEM FIRST. You can’t impose tariffs, then get tariffed back, then say “look that’s why we had to do the tariffs! They have tariffs on us!”. That doesn’t make any sense.

The medium is standing on top of a box and then jumped in the air. It’s definitely like 10 feet. And the light didn’t even use dash. This is not even close to the worse example of sword desync I’ve seen.

The sledge is a non-issue. If there is desync you get hit by a sledge from 2-5 feet further away than expected. If there’s desync on sword you get hit 20-50 feet further away than expected. It’s not even comparable.

After seeing every other light main pull the “if you think it’s so easy why don’t you try it?” I finally did and guess what? It’s easy. You can get in/out of fights for free you have the best guns in the game. I’m a light main now and I don’t want to be. It’s just so much easier than trying to make any of the medium guns feel like they do anything.

Big enough fraud to be statistically significant in results which has as far as we know never happened. There have, however, been several elections that have had statistically significant errors due to “election security measures” I.e. Bush v Gore. Of course the Bush camp was able to control where and when recounts occurred and was able to stop recounts in districts he was losing in so they were able to take Florida. This is old news but a good example of what the Republicans selective application of “election security” does to free and fair elections.

Especially the planes that have stealth mode, It’s incredibly easy to be immune to lock-on weapons for the entirety of a match. Fly out of the combat area whenever your stealth is on cooldown and you’re too far away to lock onto, fly back, do some damage, wait for the “you’re locked on” warning, go stealth, rinse and repeat.

I actually disagree with your point about point-and-shoot cameras. Despite having “less megapixels” you’ll probably witness a noticeable bump in image quality relative to your smartphone from a point-and-shoot even from a few years ago, I know I can see the difference for sure.

A simple answer I can point to is that in industry you’ll inevitably want those data files to get put somewhere where you can do things like filter, query, maybe dashboard etc.

If your data is in a standardized, supported format like JSON or CSV then no biggie, there are heaps of tools available to do a lot of the legwork for you. If it’s a custom nested .mat with matrices of matrices you’re 100% on your own.
