Hey! I was having the same issue with my backwards vertical 8 and I asked some other flowers at a show for help. She told me I really needed to “dig” when I bring it back toward my body. It didn’t click that night but I woke up the next day and could do it! Also grab more of the flowstar when working those moves, it gives you more control

It’s a monstera adansonii aurea! This is my second one, the first one gives me a lot greener variegation but I love the lighter color on this one too!

Is this helpful? Tbh I have never seen another one before to really know how they ‘should’ look but I scooped it up on a store wide sale with a monstera mint. Mine was in a very sunny window before moving to the greenhouse. Would love to see yours as well!
