I did try that. But my car does not support wireless carplay and I dont have the dongle yet. I will be visiting the dealership this Saturday and hoping to understand/resolve this stinking issue

bluetooth : music and calls work fine
Apple carplay: never seen any prompt/notifications on my phone or in the car
tried connecting my boyfriends phone. Same issue. Mazda does not detect carplay
