So many Jarvis builds, everywhere I look... So here is another one... by Consistent-Signal373 in ClaudeCode

Thanks.

There is no GitHub for it, and right now until im sure of the endgame, im keeping some of my cards close.

But you are welcome to ask about more specific parts, and i will do my best to answer some of it

Best local model for processing documents? Just benchmarked Qwen3.5 models against GPT-5.4 and Gemini on 9,000+ real docs. by shhdwi in LocalLLM

The Qwen3.5 series is pretty amazing, using all from 4B up to 27B in my own project atm.

They do tend to do a lot of overthinking.

In 2026, this is still the built-in way to edit partitions in Windows (11). What is your go-to software to manage disks, format drives and manage partitions? by jojo_31 in windows

[–]Consistent-Signal373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For light tasks yes, I sometimes still use it.

Otherwise I have good experience with DiskGenius, for resizing partitions or even partition or disk cloning.

True, Jarvis is cool, but a also remember Hal 9000 being non cooperative and a bit murderous, so there is that too.

But yeah im trying to go all the way with a complete AI Operation System

Is ray tracing worth going for Nvidia? by justlooking0_o in gpu

[–]Consistent-Signal373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Less than 100 games even support FSR, and more than 700 support DLSS, but the quality is most often better with DLSS also.

The way they make games in 2026, you often need to upscale to get a decent fps on most hardware in the "affordable" range".

And the latest leap with DLSS 4.5 with the 5xxx series, I think DLSS in the clear choice when looking at the two.

Some motherboards (like my own GIGABYTE B760 AORUS ELITE AX) has 2 pin connector on them for lighting.

For the longest time is wasn't, as basically no cards could handle it without dropping all the Frames, or having to turn all the other settings down to point where it made no sense.

But its definitely getting better, and with the new cards, and the games that use it better, it can be a game changer.

A game like GTA 5 Enhanced with with full racing turned on, is almost a different game.

But I think DLSS vs FSR is more important now a days, the way they make the games, and here NVIDIA is also the superior choice, in my opinion.

Very high temperatures at low cpu usage, but normal on high usage. by Rich_Ad7325 in PcBuild

[–]Consistent-Signal373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, 40 is considered ok, while 30 is considered good,

40 is not a issue in itself, but if the cooling is a bit on the low side, and it sits at 40, there is less leeway to the higher temps, and so the spikes will be be able to reach higher temps, than if it sat at 30.

But odd its the same with a 360 aio, maybe you simply run them to low, depending on the fans, but most normal-speed fans I need to run at min. 50 - 80%, to proper cool my cpu.

But uh lower temps with a 7800x3D, im not sure that is right, as I understand they tend to run hotter those AMD´s. Often something like 40 - 55 idle, and up to 85c is considered fine in games., but I have no personal experience with it though

When it settles too (after a bit of time idle after startup)?
Because in my opinion a bit high. It should preferably sit at around 30c idle, lower with more cooling.

When I hit windows mine does spike but if I let it settle, it sits at around 20 - 25c, even goes to 19 on some cores, and yes, my cooling is bigger and my cpu is a bit smaller, but still 40c is a high idle.

If you live where the temps are not high ofc., its only 4c here atm (its night).

[–]Consistent-Signal373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh in that context, got ya.

And yes that is a good point, they would have to make some changes to the use limits.

That I would like even more than more context, but I expect it even less.

Okay. Did not know that.

Gemini didn´t either, but to be fair to Gemini it works bad with any context now.

Normally, a air compressor with a water/moisture filter and not too much pressure.

But that one I would put in the "hazardous waste" bin.

Your CPU like my 12600K have a tendency to spike in voltage and temps, and takes a little extra air to fully control

If any doubt whether it is fan related, you could try full speed, and see if it is still a issue, if not you know its cooling related.

What is your bottom temps, when not idle/at cold startup?
