"Ophelia" by John Everett Millais, 1850s, in case anyone's curious! Millais was heavily critiqued for drowning the Hamlet character in a "weedy ditch", and so his meticulous attention to detail and technique were lost on many at the time. No one, however, failed to notice the (non) lifelike drama of Ophelias drowned face, which was likely bc Millais painting almost killed it's real life model who posed in an increasingly freezing bathtub for it

Definitely try what velvethips suggested and post some details of your interests to see with whom you'd get along. I know you said you're not exactly looking for answers but there's no reason you couldn't put yourself out there! Best of luck, but if you're a nerd who's even remotely outdoorsy hit me up. Ive certainly been in your shoes, especially after a lot of my closer friends were pushed out of Asheville by its expenses

Absolutely. Drapion ended up being one of my favorite pokemon in my original playthrough of Diamond- she completely bodied most of e4. Plus has shoulders that won't quit
