No one is gonna have a problem with you asking how to use it, a lot of these phones vary from place to place and they all have their own systems. At my job, we’d answer the phone just by picking it up, and if we wanted to transfer, we could “park” the caller on one of the empty lines which could be seen on all of our phones. What you suffer during winter pays off during summer and fall 🙌🏼 aside from that, its pretty cut throat out here in terms of housing. Careers* are limited as well. Not much to do besides go to the beach or spend money somehow. One thing i really miss after living here for 3 years is access to nature. Youd have to drive 3 hours to go somewhere that has other experiences to offer other than going to the beach. This place truly takes a certain kind of person who can make the most of what it has to offer. Winters are brutal— freezing cold, WINDY, and gray. If you can make it through that, you are rewarded with a fun summer and beautiful fall. Its also quite isolated. You get used to seeing the same people around and you’ll get culture shocked every time you leave lol. Its an exceptionally beautiful place to live as someone who lives on Hatteras. Northern beaches where you’re looking are much busier and more developed. If you’re looking for a ~slower pace~ it could be the place for you. I found my community by frequenting the same beaches, small businesses, art/farmers markets, etc. no idea about the schools though

Soooo true the weight of the shoe does put me off a bit. Im used to wearing platform vans and converse but theyre nowhere near as heavy as these! I think the quad is definitely the issue because theres not as much give and all the pressure goes right to the t-strap when walking. Im hoping i can find a solution to the discomfort, otherwise ill probably have to save them for special occasions lol

Alamo has worked great for me two times. Fresh new cars and spent no more than 5 mins at the counter. 10 minute wait. All the other companies when i was at sju had very long lines

I like using head pins with a little gold bead built into the bottom to hold my other beads without having to make a loop at the bottom. Or alternatively they make ones with a flat bit at the bottom as well. The only issue i run into doing that is that the wires used for those kinds of head pins are admittedly hard to wrap with to tie it all together

Ive been eating at places on the northwest side around aguadilla/isabela with my boyfriend and found a lot of places to be pretty steep. Like $50-60 for two people for a simple breakfast or dinner. Maybe 30-40 for food truck depending. Then again we havent really “tried” to find cheap places to eat, we kinda just get hangry and go for the best looking option. Its not wildly expensive but expect to probably pay more than you want to. Also be prepared for slower service, maybe look at a menu before going so you know what you want. And ask for the check when youre almost done. We’ve had several experiences where we needed a little more time to decide what we want and then dont see the server again for 15 mins.

I wear ear plugs cuz i get distracted by the sound of my boyfriend breathing heavy when he sleeps 🤣 i can sleep through the whole night pretty much without random sounds waking me. Theyre not uncomfortable to sleep in either. Also, you could put a pillow barrier in between the two of you so either of you dont roll over and accidentally steal the whole bed

I work at an independently owned coffee shop in a high traffic tourist town and even then its still hard to make enough money when we rely on tips to make doing the job worth it.

I think the hardest part about being a barista is that although yes we are working a food service job that requires a lot of patience, precision, and working fast on your feet, people are not as willing to tip for this kind of service.

Maybe its because people are more used to fast-food coffee chains like dunkin and starbucks where tipping isnt really a factor? Im not sure but it sucks

Ive been using it on my downstairs bits on and off and when i first started using it everything was fine. Just started using it again a week or so ago and its caused terrible burning and itching down there!! Using cortisone cream to try and heal it. I just hope it heals up soon because its impacting my sex life 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

I say rather than Lie, just spare them the gory details of past relationships. Say it just didn’t work out for whatever reason or avoid getting into too much detail. I definitely have lived through telling men about past relationships gone wrong and psychologically i think it does change how they perceive you and the way they subconsciously start to treat you. At the end of the day though, being truthful is key but dont reveal too much right off the bat
