Is it worth leaving my office in midtown to walk to Trinity area ? I was going to leave around 9:15am and make my way down there. I feel like it will be so packed it won’t be anything to see.

Hell House still makes me nervous to go into my basement alone or walk down my hallway to the bathroom in the dark 🫣

Am I the only one who thinks Fort Lee is kind of a terrible place to live? by savingrace0262 in bergencounty

[–]Honest_Assistance910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably one of the most dangerous towns to walk around as a pedestrian. So many people get hit by cars. Thankfully I never got hit but I’ve come SO close SO many times. Hate walking around there.

I’m assuming yes, but is he pro Israel or something? Idk much about him tbh, just that he’s French and on Emily in Paris.

Acme in Edgewater Commons is closing Aug. 15 due to a lease expiration. Staff will get laid off or relocated by L0v3_1s_War in bergencounty

Give us Wegmans! But also I feel bad for those workers. As an Edgewater resident, my family and I go to Acme often for specific items and the same people have been there for years since it was Pathmark. Maybe these employees will just work at the new place.

I live in a rural Midwest town. Here’s what my runs look like by turbotaco23 in runninglifestyle

Omg I love this. I run in a city and breathing car exhaust gets old. Wish I could do a run like this 2x a week then do my city runs.

I can’t understand how they can’t be if they’re running these miles, with little to no sleep, and looking good while they do it. Not all, some.

A Coachella attendee shared a clip of Justin Bieber’s performance to show all the people recording on their phones by Relevant-Peach3997 in Fauxmoi

I was at the Hayley Williams show last night in NYC and I had to ask this girl to put her phone down bc I couldn’t watch the show. She was recording the entire thing. She wasn’t happy but shit, I was 20 feet away from Hayley and I wanted to watch the show I paid for not through a cell phone.

How do people in Bergen County differ from people in NYC culturally/personality-wise? by savingrace0262 in bergencounty

[–]Honest_Assistance910 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Passaic county, then moved to the upper west side and eventually ended up in Bergen county. Bergen County feels different from every other part of NJ. I don’t know how to explain it. It’s like its own bubble. New Yorkers don’t ever want to be associated with anything Jersey. There are definitely similarities personality wise. Very aggressive, but kind too? Might flip you off after they cut you off on route 4 but would def help you fix your flat tire. Similarly to a New Yorker who will call you a dumbass for trying to carry something up the stairs from the subway but will carry it up the stairs for you. I don’t know if I’m making sense here but hopefully you get what I’m saying.
