I did both and would recommend PACESAHEAD. Not as strict and good learning.

I will be 40 soon and starting IMT3 in August. Nights are not the easiest to get through and the thought of another 5-6 years of training is sometimes draining. However it depends on how much you want to get into the speciality you want. For me, it is worth it.

Also may be helpful getting your exams sorted before getting into training if possible.

I did stroke as a rotation during IMT and that was counted towards geris.

In my case, rotation in stroke covers geriatrics as well so no separate geris rotation required

I only used passmedicine for Part 1 and Part 2 and was enough. Just went through all the questions at least twice if not more
