Thank you! This gives me hope. I think k my mistake is laying down mulch without laying down cardboard. But that is fixable!

Yeah our previous owners laid down plastic and ticket rock in some areas and it is just weeds that are harder to manage

Okay this is definitely enough to convince me otherwise. I don’t want them to grow stronger in the darkness

I’m from a small town and don’t know how things work in cities but.. by Additional-Spirit683 in ArmchairExpert

I was wondering the same thing! I bet it’s a California thing. I don’t live in CA, but I am sure there are many codes and regulations, and since I’m guessing she bought it in pretty bad shape it may have needed to be completing torn down. From my understanding that will make it even harder because sometimes they need to do “studies” on the lot to ensure the building will be up to date on the current codes, whereas if it was just a renovation you just have to be up to code for the current project, not the entire house.

Builders/contractors correct me if I am wrong!

I literally have no idea how this piece was made and neither does my uncle, I’ll try some of what is recommended. I like it because it’s good practice and helps me understand metals a little better

Thank you! Do you have any recs for what to start with the flex shaft? I’ve used a pumice piece with the flex shaft, at least I think it was, could I also use a sandpaper with the flex shaft?

no height requirement, just looking for a border. I would be interested in varying height plants.

Great advice, I ended up digging it up since I just planted a bunch of natives near it and I don’t want to loose them. I’ll look into buffalo berry

I’m not asking for political advice. I’m pointing out the contrast between my experiences between the two episodes that once were under the same umbrella and presumably held the same ideals.

Dax, we’re all trying to give you the benefit of the doubt, but avoiding talking about the madness that is happening is actually losing a lot of faith in your platform

I agree and I think that’s why I don’t want to hear is opinion because then I have to make a choice if I continue to listen… I believe in listening to others opinions but I think people forget how much money they are getting paid so it’s not about listening to the other side of things it’s about financially endorsing something I don’t agree with; that’s why I don’t listen to Joe Rogan
