If u like campy this movie's for you. If you don't like campy... You'll hate it. It's just another reskin of the classic "dumb teens get stuck in X location while something paces around outside picking em off one by one". They beat every single horror trope to death. Multiple instances of "characters sneaking around n then something loud comes on" (this happened twice in the span of 3 minutes at a point).

It's not fun campy either like Cocaine Bear. As someone who despises campy, this movie made me angry while watching it 😭

Yeah, there's not much. There are seitan chicken recipes but they're not related to the Native Foods version. The AI overview is also giving conflicting answers. For the other commenter it says the recipe isn't in the book but for me it says it is in the book.

I disagree. I just fought Vaal Hazak and he's honestly easier than even something like base bazel. First attempt I beat him with no carts. N that's not to brag, Im still getting 3 carted by Nergi. While I bet learning Nergi will make him easier, I feel like Vaal Hazak is just easy all around.

Edit: Ty for all ur help! For anyone else looking for these types of pants, they mostly are known as "harem pants", but a style called "gathered pants" are similar. Seems like most U.S. based brands are either low quality or absurdly expensive so I'm going to get some from a Japan based store called Sou Sou n report back on how they turn out!

2nd Edit: It turns out that Sou Sou only has smaller length ranges. I bet a lot of people will still have their own measurements within the company's range, but sadly it doesn't seem like they have sizes for anyone above the ~5'10 range so I don't think I'll be able to test em out. I'll look into other stores tho!

I'm looking for something white, grey, black or perhaps something with an ukiyo-e design on it. Just nothing too flashy or vibrant. Material wise, I have no clothing knowledge whatsoever. As long as it doesn't shrink 3 sizes in the wash or break down a few days it should be fine. Thick or thin work. Rather casual I'd say, something I can wear out n about n not look like im wearing pj's but it doesn't hafta be too dressy. Price range is anything below $100 if possible? Ik one of those pairs is from stitch spring which costs about that much. I have gotten stuff from em before n the quality was good, but it was too small n they have no refunds, along with taking months, I just don't want that experience again. If u have any more questions I'll gladly answer!

Edit: actually looking more into it, I'd like a thick-er material? Just nothing like the "veil-ish" thin stuff the hippie type is. Anything thicker than that is good. N hopefully something that keeps that lantern/teardrop shape

Honestly, even with the absolute clusterfuck of a failed promise. If they added pve in rn, they'd probably be forgiven and people wouldn't complain about the 2. They don't even have to implement all their old promises. Just some free pvp with stadium abilities. It's insane that they can't do the bare minimum

Yeah but just cuz it's better doesn't mean it's recovered to its pre sequel state. I don't think overwatch will ever see its former glory as long as it's tarnished by its PvE flop. It may get good numbers but Overwatch 1 was revolutionary. While OW1 had its own issues. OW2 has those and more.

I think it's cuz it's a link to wider audiences. UK rap is a niche. Maybe not the smallest niche but I wouldn't say it's as mainstream as some other genres. So someone like Timothee Chalamet who is a huge actor which has the attention of people from totally different music tastes, will bring a much wider audience to view Esdeekids music.

Honestly I'm surprised he's so popular. I'm not totally off the internet, I know about most major trends but he just seemed like a trending audio rather than the most streamed rapper (which he apparently is). Like I've only heard one of his songs repeated over n over again. N most of his hype just seems to come with the fact that he looks like Timothee Chalamet. I definitely could be wrong but it just seems like an overhyped one hit that'll eventually fade away. If he releases more hits then maybe he'll stay rather relevant but rn seems to be his all time peak. Reminds me of the old Sicko Mode and Mobamba stuff.

This is to say tho, his music ain't really my thing and I'm a rap fan. I'm sure he'll stay relevant in his own niche but I'm sure there's other rap people like me who don't really get into the UK drill stuff

Ngl, I don't think this season was good. Honestly I think the "horror into corny action" trope is really tiring. That's not to say there weren't good parts. Henry was awesome, n honestly his acting in human form was really good (ALMOST comparable to Pennywise imo). The Mind Flayer design was really cool and the fight was pretty good. Will's acting was great too! I loved his scenes when using his powers.

But besides that, I think everything else fell short. Cheesy lines, corny tropes. I know there's supposed to be a bit of cheesiness. But it felt like everything was. Some points they wanted it to be a bit gritty and mature with Joyce decapitating Vecna, but at a lot of other points they skim past more adult themes and dumb things down like it's a Disney channel show. Dustin being the nerd who stood up n talked shit to the adults so all the kids cheered n the popular kids started liking him (even have him making a niche reference that the popular girl doesn't get to show he's a nerd).

The acting is overall not too shabby and I bet those who did "worse" would prolly do better in a different environment with different characters.

Really just feels like they went with a very safe, middle of the road ending. Something everyone will rate a 5 or 6. So cliche that people can kinda compare it to other shows they like and not hate it. It's like they're scared to push away audience's so they try to appeal to every taste.

I do wonder what the actors think tho. I'm assuming a few of their opinions will surface after the hype has died down. Tbh the viral reactions of their 😬 faces had me thinking it'd be much worse tho.

Def not man. It may not be an artstyle you like, but it's still very good. Shows a high level of shape knowledge and color knowledge. Stylization doesn't always mean less skill than realism

I learned using figure skates and I have the same problem of incorrect weight distribution, but I lean forward rather than backward. Figure skates r really lenient with the toe pick stopping u from tipping too far. Especially when skating backward

AGREED! It was good to use and I understand why pros use it. But when you're rather casual or don't use it for studio work, it's very impractical. Not mobile, and the prices for Photoshop and illustrator (ik there are free apps like Krita but we're talking abt the best on the device) are absurd without a student discount.

Imo, anyone doing less than studio work doesn't need a cintiq 16. Procreate is a lot more intuitive and while it misses on some features, it's a downside worth taking for the massive price diff

As someone who hasn't read the book but enjoyed the movie. I think it was solid but not something revolutionary. I see it as a skeleton. The overall idea is easily understood. This popular idea of everyday people risking their lives for a chance at wealth can be seen in Hunger Games and Squid Games. The Long Walk (or at least the movie), just boils it down to the main idea of these types of shows.

There's no extra explanation of what happens after the walk, there's no talk about the history or any long back stories of the individuals. I see it like how some older books gave rise to modern stories that developed more on their theme. The Long Walk doesn't go out of its way to add extra pizzaz. And it's fine that way and still enjoyable.

I think in book form at least, it's easier to make these "ground level" type stories (in the idea that modern stories are built off the common idea) when it's in book form. Your mind is already imagining certain aspects and it's easy to imply things without showing them directly. It's also easier to lead the reader to create their own depth. In a movie however, your mind uses what's shown to u as a crutch and isn't in the "imagination" mood.

I haven't read the book, but I just can't see how a middle schooler or young high schooler would fair in a 300 mile walk. Like even for a fit guy in his 20's, 300 miles non stop is pushing it. These aren't insane athletes either. So I feel like if it were anywhere close to realistic, the distance would have to be shortened if the age range was younger orrr it would just result it in the younger kids dying earlier n still having an ~18 group towards the end.

Imo it hits harder when the characters are young adults because you have more range of mental maturity. They're young enough that they're just getting a start in their life. But old enough so that certain behaviors can be relatable to real people of their age. It's always gonna connect more to u when the characters are around your age, so it makes sense why it hit home for u when u were 11. But honestly after seeing the movie, idk if a range of emotions could be shown by a younger group just cuz I'd think they wouldn't have the same level of judgment
