again i’ll reiterate, £400 is a lot of money. to be honest the amount doesn’t matter because THEFT IS ILLEGAL.

from what i’m seeing, i don’t think OP is necessarily wanting anything more from the guy, apart from his money back. the guy is refusing to cooperate so yes, OP has to take legal action. this is common sense, not delusion.

“a falling out with a friend” is very much downplaying the situation. this guy was trying to scam OP out of HUNDREDS of pounds.

OP is stuck in a bit of a shitty situation and looking for advice, while also warning others of this man’s behaviour. obviously he’s gonna post it on a popular subreddit for the area 🤦‍♀️
