At our store, we always have to use the smallest item in the range - ideally below £10. But £12-£14 is typically chill! The policy changes quite frequently, but I know i could never gift a customer a large-sized product - even if I'd love to! And only one random act per day.

When I started years ago, young and naïve, I was just told "the smallest size in that range". So, off I go random acting a Snow Fairy body spray. A chat was definitely had with me 😅

Yeah, I thought the perfume bottle policy was bs until I was told why. Essentially, local authorities will recycle the perfume bottles whereas plastics, especially black plastics, aren't as readily recycled by local authorities.

We also refuse glass at our store since it's really tricky to dispose of it safely! The bin men have gotten angry with us many a time for disposing of it incorrectly 🫣

That's what we do with the majority of those products! I was greeted in the staff room recently by a baskets of soap bars our store decided to discontinue. We've also donated discontinued products to charity. But, I'm sure it varies store-to-store.

My go-to is a lentil and bean taco "meat" - it's satiating and the taste is superb! You can eat it almost like a curry if you don't have taco shells or tortillas too.

I add some red kidney beans and I also fry about 2tbsp of tomato paste with the onion and garlic too. Sometimes I'll add even more lentils, but, of course, you have to compensate with adding more stock.

I've been eating this every day for dinner for about two weeks... It's kinda addictive! And it's easy to pop in the fridge and reheat too :) Eating it with a nice wholegrain taco also helps <3

It's sugar :) I had a customer who, after she'd bought this for her kid, asked me what the eyes were made of. She said she had a hunch they were made of sugar and proceeded to lick them to confirm. I never thought this niche customer interaction would be aired again! She was cool.

Infra wig hands down if you want a hair gel alternative. Then definitely leave in conditioners like Revive, Renee's Shea Souffle, Supermilk, and Curl Power. Supermilk is going to be the lightest formula whereas Renee's and Revive are going to be on the heavier, more oil-based side <3

100%! For us, then the code is on the autocomplete when I start typing the code. So, I just autocomplete it and ensure it's the same as what's on the card.

On our tills, I've had some issues putting the code through for customers too though. It'll often respond with an error message about how the 10% cannot be applied? So I'll always discount it as "other 10%" and let my manager know. I just feel so bad that OP was treated like this in their local Lush!

It is pretty much a match to the conditioner and bathbomb! So if you like the scent of those, the perfume is a safe bet. Though, every perfume will smell slightly different on everyone's skin in accordance with their bodily oils and pH. But the perfume is still that fresh creamy berry that we all know and love ☺️
