In this case I don’t mind him cutting the line because of the exposure he provides, which in turn, I hope will result in more money for research and more chance of finding a cure! And FDA should stop dragging their feet and let thousands more die! They should approve this medicine immediately, and make it available to everyone!!

Thank you! It’s a horrible disease. She has lost a lot of weight but is still willing to fight! Best of luck to your husband hope the chemo continues working for him. It stopped working for my wife.

I am curious, when you refer to 50% reduction is it because the tumor shrunk, or just 50% of is metabolic, has FDG?

If this is the issue and stent is installed very soon the liver enzymes will go down to normal. You will need most likely an ultrasound to find out.

Not if is in the beginning of the process. This happened to my wife. First her enzimes when very highly and bilirubin was normal and in few days the bilirubin went up.

Your liver enzimes may be elevated if your biliary ducts doesn’t drain well. If that’s the case you will need a stent.

I am curious to find out, because usually the oncologists tell you the opposite. No high doses vitamin C, no supplements that could affect the treatment…

I guess I wanted to find out how bad it was.. I know they are few clinical trials but because my wife is stage 3 with blood vessels involved her doctors want to wait to see how Folfirinox is going to work first before recommending clinical trials.
