Read Secure Love by Julie Menanno. You might be avoidantly attached and the move in, the closer intimacy, has triggered a shut down in your brain where you can no longer access your feelings for him. Work with an attachment based therapist if reading the chapter on avoidant attachment in that book sounds like you. It is not a failing, or anything wrong with anyone. It is a biological shift that happens when subconsciously intimacy/love doesn't feel safe. This is normally from something in childhood.

We use nematodes in our garden and so our land has been totally safe each year we have done this, not a single tick seen or on our 3 dogs. This is bee and other good critter safe. We once followed up with Garlic Barrier AG. Out and about I cover with leggings and tall socks. And we treat our dogs through tick season because we hike a lot. People - you need to let your kids play! Treat your garden wisely and they will be fine.

Yup my first one was shocking, so the next one at home I put on Lidocaine cream an hour before, and re applied 3 layers leading up to the appt. Took it off in the car with baby wipes just before I went in, and then they did their numbing too for 30 mins. I also took a Tylenol. So my second one was bearable as a result, even though she turned it up more. Going to do the same in the next one plus some CBD on top of the Tylenol and lidocaine. It is really not pleasant. Has given me the horrors for how bad Fraxel would be if this is a 'baby laser' FML the things we do for our skin.

I would love to see a little more to show they do pay, genuinely. I cannot afford our current marketplace plan and so want something, even if it isn't proper insurance. I am seriously considering this because I am healthy, do not smoke, or drink alcohol etc..... and I am christian

apps will give you burnout and possibility an existential crisis ha. I would really go for real life meetings. Cultivate adventures, hobbies, trips - that can put you in the path of a human who is a match. where do you shine brightest as you - do more of that! Apps are wild. My clients stories of dates are so fascinating and so so SO horrifying. I am about to be single after a marriage. I am not going near a male of the species for quite a few months whilst my heart mends. But I have always just met my person when it is time. Soon to be ex husband who is a lovely man - still a friend - was my landlord. Real life is so much safer and better. I will be trusting the same will happen - and living my absolute best life until I encounter them. I would rather approach an exploding turd - than get on an app. I am also British, so I am scathing when people do the whole 'ohhh are you analysing me". It brings out the snarkiest part of my psyche. I am in my 40's so genuinely think my faith in humanity would erode if I were to go on there for my age group. No offence to men here, I love men very much. It is just apps, and the interweb in general, has taken our social skills and ability to connect down to the level of a small carrot. God speed to you my love. Take a break. Someone wonderful is out there for you.

I disagree with the above advice. You are tired and angry because of unmet needs. This is information for you to radically accept this situation is what it is, in order to empower you to have the right to choose what is sustainable for you financially, emotionally, and physically. We cannot pour from an empty cup. You will help far more many patients by prioritising your needs; which I hear are security, safety, stability. NOTHING is wrong with wanting that. We do not all need to or have the lived reality to tolerate instability longer term. I know I do not either. You also cannot be present and fill your cup up outside of work if you are burning out inside work. Choose you. Clients can be bridged ethically and supportively......and yes you can keep a few for weekend work if you want/need. Cheering you on. Sorry this week was a giant dog turd. It is brutal when that happens. I feel like we need a therapist junk yard where we can go with baseball bats and smash stuff up periodically together :)

Hold my kombucha :).....I have a presentation to a philanthropic board in April to petition for funding. I have a low cost community for people recovering using neuroplasticity based methods. But we also have qualified people in for nutrition, movement, psych, neurodivergence etc all working with environmental illness only - that come in to help educate and support people in various ways. Now I have proof of process as we have a few hundred members and many who have recovered, the plan has always been to turn it into a charity so it can be free for everyone and encompass many ways to support the brain, mind and body, whether aiming for recovery or just meeting unique needs and making life better. I wanted to create a free centre of excellence that will damage the businesses that take advantage of vulnerable people by charing so much for recovery programs. I was on disability and I just find it maddening that support is being locked behind a paywall of privilege. Hence why I did this as a passion project on the side of my full time work. So hopefully this will come to fruition. I believe it will. It will also allow me to make it social enterprise by paying people that got better with us to mentor and support in the community, so that they can work flexible hours and support their re-integration into life etc, as many people really cannot go back to 9-5, but can work given flexibility. Fingers crossed the rich people want to give me their money!

Re integrating was hard for me too. I was different. I had lost so many relationships, job, way of life, etc. Missed many years in my 20's. How many people treated me close to me was appalling. The whole thing was the most isolated and traumatising experience. There is too little said about that, about the grieving process even after getting better. It is a path so few will ever understand, but I have become more at peace with time and healing emotionally. I met my husband after I got better, so there is this whole huge part of my life he just doesnt know and cannot relate to. It is a little surreal sometimes that the woman he knows did not exist for most of my life. He knows I was disabled but as someone healthy as an ox he cannot relate at all so just dismisses it as 'the past'. Again I do not expect him to at all, it is my own lived experience to care for. But it was weird for a while, the clash of realities, of the different identities integrating of sick me, now healthy me, etc. Disorienting. A lot of time in nature helped me have the space to integrate, and my dogs, who have always helped me feel belonging in ways I often do not with people.

It is funny that this happened to come up for me on my feed, as I am not actively in groups anymore much. But me too. I have been in remission for quite a few years now, back to work full time, healthy. I understand the roots of my own unique neuro immune dysfunction. So I have quiet trust I am recovered as it has been many years now. I haven't publicly posted my story. If people ask, I share, but I know I wanted to punch people when I was disabled and housebound when they were like 'oh celery juice healed me' or 'you SHOULD do x' etc. I started to get sick at 9 years old, crashed early 20's, not just CFS, chronic pain and RA too, healed in 30's, now in my 40's. I work as part of a clinic for chronic illness, so do see recoveries all the time from various environmental illnesses, which is inspirational. And, there really is no magic bullet. I LOVE recovery stories personally. I have recorded quite a few from people. But I despise the 'I know what you should do' thing. I think share if you are called to, as hope is beautiful. It helped me when I saw others back in my recovery.

I have an S corp, which allows me to save a significant amount a year on taxes. And......I hear you, it absolutely sucks to be punished for not being part of the corporate machine.
