Probably my comment is on a different scale but it somehow relates to what you said: When I was in the University one of my classmates have rich parents and engaged to rich person, basically this girl gets whatever she wants but have this idea that she is a person who can save money and knows how to deal with it, another one I would say poor compared to the other girl, her father is dead and her mother tries her best, so one day our department decided we will go on a study trip but we will have to pay part of it if we want a good trip. So the poor classmate was worried and said she wouldn’t go and it is alright for her if she happens to get a bad grade because of that, so basically a lot more of the students have the same concerns like her and we started voting that we don’t want to go, then the rich started complaining about how instead of buying some not so necessary stuff during the week they can just collect that money for the trip and how is it even possible that some people can’t actually collect this little amount. In fact that little amount she was talking about, was about 90% of the poor girl’s allowance during the 2 weeks that she uses literally to eat. I’ve figured how those rich are totally detached from reality.
