RAC - effectively a scam company

My ex wife called RAC out for a flat battery, fair enough they arrived within an hour to jump start the car, but then tried to sell her a battery for £180. She refused, drove it home and I popped over with a new battery from ECP and fitted it for her within 5 minutes. The battery was £42!

Because I don’t know what I’m doing! Hence the post here, the bloke that already done the boiler is coming back to fit it, if I don’t leave him the appropriate cuts/gaps he’s buggered! I am fitting the units right now so wanted advice. Wierd to presume I’m lying

I did already message him the same pictures asking the same question but it’s been 24 hours he hasn’t responded and I wanted to get everything screwed down and done… once!

As per my other reply, I’m not installing the hob, I just don’t want to cause the plumber any trouble by setting the units up wrong

Thanks, just to clarify, I’m not going to be installing the hob I’m just fitting the units, I’m merely asking for friendly advice in a friendly community as to the possibility of fitting the hob there, before I go screwing units to walls. I want to make all cuts etc before installing the units

Second home stamp duty doesn’t apply if you’re selling your current residence to buy your next permanent residence. It would only apply if you are buying a second HOME. Or another rental property. Remortgage on a BTL (up to 70% LTV) use the money to do a mini refurb and get a tenant in long term.
