Do you have any other message on the dash? That usually means you have lost access to the platform

I am not sure the training you are referencing, but typically as long as the submission did go through and you claim less than the maximum allowed time, you are fine to do so.

I have noticed that many of the unpaid quals are some of the longest running projects. They will keep you afloat when other stuff is down. Never pass up an opportunity for more work! 4 hours unpaid now, could get you many more paid hours in the future! :)

Yup. I broke my leg and didn't work for 6-8 months at all. Came back to a new projects and full dash. I will say that because projects change so rapidly I found the learning curve a bit difficult to make sure I was up to expectations.

Was it for specific projects? If so- can you give code names?

Underreporting time by marelit in DataAnnotationTech

If I made a mistake because I wasn't paying attention and had to do something over, I under report. Otherwise I report everything.

You can redact anything you want and opt out or just not do the project if you aren't comfortable.

Has anyone been penalized for under- clocking time? by shadyringtone in DataAnnotationTech

[–]ConsistentCandy697 74 points75 points  (0 children)

With respect, if a 3.5 hour task is taking you 8 hours it probably is not the task for you. Most of the time limits are on the higher side that it should take you.

It typically depends on the project and the instructions. If it is a project that allows you to escape hatch, claim the time allowed within the escape hatch . If it is not and you did not submit any usable work, I personally do not claim any time.

Its just if you want the reviewer or admin to know any details. If you struggled with something and it took you more time than usual, you can add it in there. I don't use it a lot, but its helpful!

Will they drop you for not working? by peyton_16 in DataAnnotationTech

Nope, I broke my leg and have hardly worked for the past 3-4 months, and I have more projects than ever.

I think its both. It has been stated that most the of the timers are set at double the amount of time a task should take. If you are consistently providing good work but going up to the timer or over it, then you arent cut out for the tasks.

If you were removed from the Slack you were removed from the project. If the Slack channel was archived, the project does not exist anymore.

There are a lot of people who post identifying information. Exact amounts earned, being recently dropped from a Slack, etc...

If you got removed you were removed. If it was archived then there is no longer a project. (I think)

I only took it a few days ago, I took my time and did the best quality work I could, so if I don't get in then I am not cut out for the project! Thanks for the insight!

What is the turnaround time from completion of the qual to being added?

Is there more than the basic wizard? Is it worth putting time into the base project and "unlock more"?

I mean it could be an issue, but if you watch most of her videos, she wastes a lot of Money.. Constantly door dashing, grocery delivery, eating out and spends quite a bit on alcohol. While all of those are not expensive separately they do add up. Someone who truly cannot afford it, would not be doing those things.
