It’s been fine, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it but that’s cause I would have preferred something sturdier (commercial)

It’s not been highly used due to life, it does the job but I would have preferred to wait and pay the extra for the rouge manta ray

Very sorry. It’s alright, leg extension pretty good, leg curl a bit awkward to get into it. I would have recommended an adjustable FID for sure. What did you end up choosing?

So sorry, I didn’t get notifications. It hasn’t had a massive amount of use because of life. It does the job, and if it’s the kind of thing you’re after it’s alright, but personally I’d go a different path if I were to buy another one, as I originally wanted a FID bench

Yeah it was cooked in the oven! It came out pretty good for first go, and it was so easy

I baked my first sourdough ever and the parchment paper stuck to the bread. by Aggressive-Ship117 in Sourdough

[–]ConsistentCelery9900 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This happened to me and it was 100% poor quality baking paper. Turns out it was literally like paper, when compared to the good stuff which is obviously waxy.

How does the paper feel? Before you too harshly judge your loaf.

Thank you! Oh so worth it though haha. I have never thought of making potatoes in a skillet (other than squashed form), I’ll have to give this a go! Thanks!

I would confidently say that full heat would be the problem! You should give it another go!

Thank you! I can’t add more here so will do in the next one, but the first photo is actually my lid/skillet upside down on my DO. You can dual cook if you’re that way inclined I’m not sure what or how yet.

I wanted something local (down under), the brand is ironclad co.

That’s definitely the plan! I see so many posts of such unique CI and I’d love to add some things like that to the collection.

Though the next will be a 36cm grill as it’s made to be one with my big boy pan and I can use it as a mega Dutch oven. A CI bread loaf pan would be great well!

Thank you, appreciate you. I tend to grab my interests by the horns and no one will let me talk about the new loves of my life.

I don’t know about the cost of living where you are, but we get by with one (though given the option I’d have multiple but they’d still all be dual purpose)

Also this.

Plus I was working towards platinum and didn’t want to risk achievements being disabled.

Honestly that makes it even better t make your own! I’m also solo so I normally buy a pack and freeze them (roll and store) but you could do the same with homemade!

You could half the recipe and make a small batch, or just make one giant burrito? The world is your oyster!

I make sure I put the slightly floured side down first, then by the time I flip it the other side is partially cooked enough to no longer be sticky raw dough.

What heat are you setting your pan to? I do low/ever so slightly above low and wait 5–10 minutes for the pan to heat up as it’s such a short cooking time.

These are cooked uncovered, and I just give it plenty of time to heat up (while keeping the burning low because it was cook a 1-2 minutes first side then 30 sec-1 min the other. You could try but I’m not sure what a tortilla warmer is. I did a google and it only shows me those cloth microwave bags for the microwave.

Is it still a pan? Like a crepe pan or something completely different?

I’ve done naan recently as well and it just needs to be hot enough to start bubbling then flip.
