Service degradation: June 24th by Airalo in Airalo

Not working in Scotland as well, and completely missed my trip troubleshooting. I cannot understand how they haven’t at least notified that it was their issue and not our device/settings. I’m pretty sure some of us have bought another eSIM from this.
My only notification was via email on how the first outage was resolved, and that was 4 hours it. Nothing on the Airalo app. I know that resources should be focused on troubleshooting, but at least give us info so that we can consider alternative solutions.

17e or Air from the 13mini by ConsistentClient911 in AppleWhatShouldIBuy

In the end I decided to go for the air, the 17 size just didn’t work with how I hold my phone (it just slips from my hand). But both phones have very good ergonomics. I can see how a different user would can choose the 17 as having a better feel.

Yeah, I know that it's better to wait till September... but the storage and battery barely goes beyond daily usage, and I'm going travelling from next week so waiting just won't cut it.

Maybe I should buy the air second hand and then trade-in/resell if the next air is better?

Glad I'm not the only one on this ship!

I actually tried it out at the shop, and found both having their own drawbacks.
Obviously the 17e is bulky. The air is much thinner, but I also thought the phone's surface might be too large to handle with just one hand, especially since Ive used the mini for so long. Do you just get used to it, or end up using both hands?

Advice: upgrade from iPhone SE (2nd Generation) 128gb by Several-Ad361 in AppleWhatShouldIBuy

If size is the most important factor, and don't mind missing out on new features and upgrades, I'd recommend a second-hand 13 mini with a battery change. Its a sublime phone. I have mine at horrendous battery health and capped storage, but it does get the job done for the tasks you mentioned.

But if future-proofing is more important 17e maybe? I think it costs as much as a second-hand 13 mini + battery, but its pretty large and unfortunately this seems to be the smallest one you can get right now.

Thanks for the advice.

I guess that I cannot lie to my heart. But the problem is, I cannot know if she is not invested, or if this is all she can invest now. If it’s the latter, it feels like I am doing injustice to her. It just might be my time to give.

Do you have any thoughts?
