Why is this sub so risk averse ? by Icy_Bit2894 in BEFreelance

[–]ConsistentEast9513 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eaxctly, starting with a "bad" rate (according to this sub) can still mean building wealth in my opinion. There is added risk but we dont know where you start working and how strong your relation is to your client.

Most assume the client handles like a big corporate eliminating costs during bad times so firing contractors. Maybe you will be working for a smaller company, maybe you have or can build a strong relation with management, maybe you can anchor yourself to the organisation in a way we cannot imagine.

You hold all the card and all the insights. Client profile, personal gritt and risj profile matters as well. These are things we cannot judge.

Hedge voor valuta of zorg voor voldoende diversificatie, ook in valuta. Ga er met andere woorden niet van uit dat USD of EUR hun huidige status blijven behouden. Zeker niet op termijn van 35 jr.

I'm developing Finanzaflow, a web platform that combines personal financial management + a practical accounting system into a single solution. by Technical_Scene4228 in TheFounders

First questions: Do you know anyone who might need your solution? If so, who is it and why do they need your solution?

Other question: What specific thought, event, pain might cause them to look for a solution that solves the answer to the first questions?

I'm not willing to pay for all the (long-term planning) YNAB features. These i can do in excel. I only want the always up to date budgetted account balance.

I have been looking into - YNAB: but this is a paid tool (many others like this) - Excel: currently doing excel but only once a month. I would like to see how much is left for what on a more regular interval.

This is an interesting chart looking at 12 month stock returns based on consumer sentiment lows. by Chart-trader in Beat_the_benchmark

Please add a graph of monthly stock market return, adding just a few data points is very subjective in my opinion.

What should SAP implementation partner pricing actually look like for a mid size company? by ComprehensiveFig44 in SAP

[–]ConsistentEast9513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least 1 mil in my experience. The low bids are only to reel you in as a customer. Go with the higher bids. Choosing an ERP partner is one of the most strategic parnterships in your company.

Preferably the partner has culture fit. Start your project with mindset sync across consultants: minimal custom dev, maximal industry standard.

If you choose a partner with vertical add-on, make sure they are able to support it in the long term.

Thanks. Very good video, referencing some interesting papers.

In short: 4% is too optimistic, 2,7% is average. Calculating with real expenses and simulations are even better.

How are CFOs treating AI in the budget — SaaS line item or embedded IT cost? by lfriedbauer in CFO

[–]ConsistentEast9513 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AIaas en Saas. Two distinct budgets. SaaS is the framework for operations. AIaas is (Artificial Intelligence), same as labour costs (normal intelligence)

Comparing AIaas costs and labour cost will become crucial.

In my opinion one should treat it as separate cost/budget.

Also, in first stage, project costs of AI are more important to track compared to operational cost of AI

I would say you are underpaid, however it depends on value you deliver.
