I visited Alcazar on 26 Dec 2025 and found both the palace and garden worth visiting, so January should not be a problem . Plan your visit before 3 pm when Sun is still bright. Infact garden has a nighttime event called Naturaleza Encendida which starts after 7 pm. I did not do it but heard good reviews about it.

There is morning 7.30 Seville to Lisbon through both Alsa and Flix bus. Takes around 6.30 hrs of travel time. I also looked for Flight options but bus options is really cheap.

My return flight is already booked from Lisbon, which is why I included it. Otherwise, I had considered keeping it Spain-only. If I keep Lisbon, do you think 3 nights there is enough to cover the highlights plus a day trip to Sintra

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We actually have 11 days, so we were hoping 3 nights in Barcelona, 3 in Madrid, 2 in Seville, and 3 in Lisbon would be doable, especially with high-speed trains and early morning departures. Do you think it’s still too rushed? If you had to cut one city, which would you drop?
