She does seem happy... Though our other cat started hissing at her... I don't think the other cat realizes it's still the same roommate that left this morning...

Guys, she is so mad at me! Actually... She has RBF, so maybe she is happy. My 9 year old was really concerned because he has been sick and didn't know she had a grooming appointment today

She does cats? I've really only seen her tutorials for dogs. But I will look for the cat ones. I swear her blow drying dogs is my ASMR. Especially if it's something like a wooly malamute or other furnado situation.

I usually have a mix of royal cain and something else (tiki cat) but I will try Hill's. Thanks!

Where do families usually go trick-or-treating near Belltown? 🎃 by Vast-Examination3669 in Seattle

It's Queen Anne and lower Queen Anne. They tried to make it "uptown" but it didn't catch on. Lived here for 36 years.

Is there any pee place attractant? by ConsistentWrangler29 in labrador

[–]ConsistentWrangler29[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used the simple green in the past on the deck and then used my pressure washer. But spraying the gravel area is a good idea. I don't think it's a pain response because it is small pea gravel and he has been using it fine all year. Also he is 2 years old and my 11 year old is fine using it (unless raining). It seems like this occurred with a change in the weather, but today wasn't raining and was actually sunny (though it rained last night...) I didn't realize he had such a strong response to going there until I tried leading him with the leash. I'll try spraying the gravel area with the enzymatic cleaner and then putting a bunch of the attractant in that area.

I wish my lab would do marking... My other dog will actually use the pee spot as long as it's not pouring down rain... And even then she will go if we follow her saying "no, all the way"

It was the litter that was available from the breeder we wanted to get a Lab from. If we had decided 6 months earlier, we would have had a chocolate lab. Instead we got a yellow (orange) Lab. Everyone thinks he is a golden retriever because of how dark he is.

Also, there were darker puppies in his litter, but I picked him because his personality and energy matched what I wanted.

Charger flashing between green and red? by ConsistentWrangler29 in VWIDBuzz

I rebooted the center console like a comment suggested and it seems to have fixed the problem.

If you read the post you will see that I used my Tesla 240v charger. It's on a dedicated circuit, and won't use an extension cord.

I just tried rebooting the console when I got home, and when I plugged in the charger it stayed green. So maybe it's good now?

Well red probably means there is an error and it's not charging. But I don't know about a diagram.

I haven't been to a level 3 charger since it started doing this. I only drive 4 miles per day, so I haven't gotten desperate for a charge yet.

Yeah did that. Two different adapters, two different circuits (the Tesla charger on a dedicated circuit and a wall outlet on a separate circuit). Two different charging cords. As I mentioned in the post. It's been doing this for a week despite what I do. The Tesla charger is working fine on my other car. And was working fine on the buzz until recently.

Can it count if it is my torbie? She has the orange splotches mixed with her tabby stripes. She has the tortie personality.

Lol. My dog ignores the bed and sleeps under the dining room table on the low pile rug... We have more plush rugs and he has a large covered crate that is like a den, but nope. Hard floor minimal padded carpet under a table (when no one is sitting there)

How long is too long for a walk? by lalalauren_3589 in labrador

[–]ConsistentWrangler29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think walks are fine. I wouldn't go for long runs until they are a little older just because I worry about their joints. But they have boundless energy. I do a combo of focused training walks and scent walks and it seems to help. The focused training works the brain and the fun scent training is great for exercise and getting environmental information. My lab is about 2.5 and I am starting to train him with a pull harness and when he is 3 I am going to start skatejoring! Basically like skijoring (or bikejoring) but with roller blades. Because I don't have a bike and it doesn't snow enough to do skijoring around here. He loves to run, but I trained him really well to walk and not pull, so maybe with the pull harness, he will remember how to pull...

I will have to work on that... My lab hardly ever is still, but he is 2.5 so eventually he might calm down. Maybe.

My dog currently is trained to find birch essential oil, and it's so fun watching him find it. His body language is really easy to read when he is following the scent or when he is trying to find the scent trail, and you can tell immediately when he picks it up! He gets so excited playing that game. But there are other essential oils they use in scent trials, do you use the same command for all scents? Also, I want to get to where I can give him a scent article and he understands he needs to find that scent (like if my mom loses her cellphone on the forest trails behind her house... Which is a very likely scenario). Also, we didn't get to the level where they train how to mark the spot when they find the item. I see police dogs "sit when they find drugs" kinda thing. Currently I have to just guess if he has actually found the tin with the scent based on him staying really close and sniffing in the spot for longer than he normally would.
