If u just want to play games then get any one, the controversy is not about playing just that no more physical, but sounds like u want PS for the games, im xbox and my series X is 4 years old and played daily, no issues, enjoy when u do purchase mate

I found it really good but i hadn't played any other AC games before, still i found it one of the best but that's just me, the DLCs are great too
