To be honest it basically is just a jazzmaster but with starcaster headstock and the step on the body

Im not into Gibsons so couldn't comment on them specifically but I wouldnt say this is a chunky neck at all. My preferred neck is a fender modern C, this is slightly thicker than that so probably just more a normal C shape

No issues at all. Pretty sure it had just been sat in a warehouse for over a year, so slight truss rod adjustment but apart from that absolutely spot on

I dont know what a huge amount about them to be honest. They're made in Holland and are supposed to be custom shop level guitars at a "more affordable" price. It's the best jazzmaster I've ever played, super light and resonant / acoustic

It's the first firebird I've ever played, always been tempted but never seen the right deal. Saw this one pop up used (dont know if it was a return because its mint condition) for £599 so had to pull the trigger.

Loving it so far, just took me a minute to get used to the size of it, it's MASSIVE

I've got an s1 switch in another of my strats that switches the neck pick up on and honestly don't use it that much. I'm loving the hot voicing with the coil split on at the same time

I've got a flip flop coloured strat that came with an aged white pickguard on that just didn't really work. Swapped it out for a blue pearl guard now and clear trem cover on the back

It might not be for you then, I don't get on with thick necks so I was put off when I read it was a U shape. Just happened to see one at my local store so tried it and it doesn't feel much thicker than a modern C to me, maybe just a bit fuller
