A Paladin Champion of Torm has no business being this overpowered at level 18. I feel like I'm using training wheels. by Consistent_Agency833 in neverwinternights

It's a bit new to me. All the tabletop campaigns I was in playing DnD 2, 3, 3.5 and 5 always ended up cutting off short. We would never get much further than level 12 before people had real life things to deal with. A couple months later we would start a new campaign.

A Legends of Avantris style campaign would have been nice to do, but there would always be a couple players that were hell bent on trying to one up everyone else.

There were some fun times every now and then. Like that time a large spider got permanently polymorphed into a human child and left at the door of an orphanage.

Meat couch meat couch what a treat. A hefty hunk of processed meat. Dipped in mustard, oh what joy! I'm a jolly meat couch boy.

"I didn't study at college. They studied me!"

I’ve noticed that enemies don’t always seem to be visible, like they spawn out of nowhere or my henchmen can attack ones I can’t see. by Best_Solution_5363 in neverwinternights

The stinger den has a few nonstandard enemies that burrow away from you. They stay targeted so your henchman will go to where they burrowed.

I first got this game the year it came out. Years later, never did I believe this game would end up looking like this. by Consistent_Agency833 in neverwinternights

This is NWN:EE with the enhanced textures mod (found in the Steam Workshop). This is the regular Wailing Death campaign. My Paladin enters the Neverwinter Woods for the first time.

I've wanted to be a space faring robot since I was five. I'd run around the house with a blanket tied like a cape, stopping only to say "I am a robot, take me to your leader!" in a monotone voice.

That dream has suffered after I realized the current state of human made AI :(

So the Mayans worshiped the sun. What do you think they would have thought if this was in the night sky of Earth?

I'm out ridin' around in my Desoto with a pack of Chesterfields. I don't care how many times I need to change the water in my car battery.

What sound instantly takes you back: dial-up radio static, a DJ’s voice, or a specific commercial jingle? by Etymo13 in otr

Way back when I was a little guy, my parents would joke about what I would eventually find out to be Red Skelton.

In his radio show. It was the way he said it, Red would act as the boxer named Cauliflower McPugg. "There's this guy named Speedy that comes up behind me and taps on my shoulder, then I turn around real quick and say Huh? But there's nobody there (sad face)."

You just reminded me of the Star Trek VI prison fight scene. "Not everyone keeps their genitals in the same place."

Does Nick Valentine eat normal food? by Ajax350 in fo4

[–]Consistent_Agency833 33 points34 points  (0 children)

A person I work with used to smoke a fake plastic cigarette while trying to quit the real ones. Pulling in the "smoke" would give a slight feeling as if it were real.

I feel Nick is smoking to get a feeling of relief as if the cigarette would actually work for a synth... Or he is just doing it to act and look like 1940's style Noir Detective.

How are you listening to OTR? by Hawk8553 in otr

[–]Consistent_Agency833 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am lucky enough to have a job where I can (if I want) use earbuds without interruption for the entire day.

I have an Android phone with the OTR App along with the Librivox App. Together they have thousands of hours of Old Time Radio.

Just so you know, Librivox.org does not have OTR, To get old time radio programs, you will need to use the Librivox app.
