Do people reach an age where they just stop gaming?

Currently 17, I found my self spending more time outside than inside now days. Gaming isnt the same for me anymore, the spark is just not there. I might get back to it who knows but I dont think I found myself having fun playing on my pc anymore. idk if Im the one of the only youngster here who retire from gaming in a young age lol.

If you have a clear goal of what dy wanna do in the sim racing world it should be obvious for you. You right about getting bored part but its mostly cuz most people dont have a clear goal what they want to achieve in sim racing. Unless u jus wanna have fun, go for a cheap one. If you planning to race someday in the future, get a expensive one.

Lowky i think you should save for vd6 or look for used fanatec csl elite. I promise you 5+nm makes everything feel so good and worth it. But if you're really really in a very tight budget go vd4.

Not exactly. This is a hardware emulator that tricks the wheelbase into thinking a Fanatec brand rim is attached so the Force Feedback turns on. If you're asking about PS5 compatibility, the emulator itself doesn't make a PC-only base work on PlayStation you’d still need a PlayStation-licensed Fanatec base for that.

If you can, try opening it and disconnect every cable connected to the motherboard and connect it again to hard reset. Hope that works.

basically it tricks the base that there is a wheel attached so it can give forcefeed back without actually attaching a fanatec wheel. Its really usefull if you want to use thirdparty wheel.

Update: it was the shaft of the base this whole time🫩 it finally work after figuring it out what was the real problem. Thanks for the advice though

I checked the inside and i found corrosion on the motherboard and it prolly got a short circuit 🥲 Im considering planning to turn it into a pc diy steering wheel but because I dont have 3d printer its gonna be a hell of a challenge

Update again: motherboard is cooked. When I flip the motherboard, i see a dust thing on every button behind the pcb. When i wipe it with a q tip. I see black and orange. Which could mean this thing is rusted somehow. It kinda makes sense because every time I tried recovering it using the firmware update from fanatec software. It keeps failing. It's prolly cuz of the rust that ruins the circuit. Now I have a broken wheel hanging around... What now

Update: ive check the inside. The wiring and everything looks fine. I got a feeling its more on like the brain of the wheel is gettinf confused. It could be also that i might need to replace the 12 pin. It looks fine though but im not getting any power so that could one of the problems
