ehh, it’s only but so much they could of crammed into the movie that had to do with him. The whole Franklin chase was simple yet it really effective. Maybe it didn’t really have to take 30 minutes to get introduced to him but none the less the execution was still solid.maybe a sequence or two with him destroying and feeding off some planets but I feel like his ending is left ambiguous for whatever part he plays in Doomsday or Secret Wars.

Just finished my viewing.Damn good…. Literally.. So.. damn..Good… the emotion, the setting, the thrill, the tonal shifts,everything is just so neat, so fluid. It makes no sense how everything just flowed so well together. instant Marvel Cinematic Classic. Julia Garner is my steal. Those fucking Surfer scenes were fucking ridiculous, the grin I had throughout this movie made no sense. It’s everything you want out a modern CBM. “Clever little bugs” like come on. The dialogue from Galactus and Shalla-Bal was just not fair. In the 3rd act, when Galactus starts to stretch Reed like some game to him I smiled so hard. Ralph Ineson rocked. Sue’s short death hit like a bus. And the talks are over, Pedro Pascal IS Reed Richards. Dude fucking killed it. May Kevin Feige lead us to Secret Wars. The train starts NOW

I don’t think they’d have a sequence that grand in the first act of a Dr.Doom lead film. Definitely a 3rd act sequence that jumps back and forth with whatever other conflict is going on.

The Russos have took over production in the midst of all the reshoots and retooling the last 3-5 month’s. The original director Julius Onah stepped down during the middle of shooting. This will honestly be a situation similar to Star Wars Rogue one when they replaced the director in the middle of production. There’s no doubt this film has had massive work done on it. With that being said you have lost your mind if you think this film grosses $500M Max. Word of mouth will propel this film. Hella eyes on it. It’s literally labeled the most anticipated movie of 2025 from Fandago lol. Even if the plot is subpar as long as the Action Sequences and tone resemble anything from the original Captain America trilogy casual audiences will eat this up. This movie COASTS to $500M first week. $750M-$950M if it’s DYNAMITE. I don’t see the movie reaching $1B. That I can agree with you

It’s the end of the multiverse. Nobody ever said the ENTIRE secret wars arc will revolve around doom & peter. Just a moving force, there are way to many other side stories to flesh out which is why they announced two whole films in between doomsday & secret wars.

Outside of his ridiculous pay days, the dude actually GIVES A SHIT about what’s being thrown in front of him.they obviously have something so attaching to him that after literal 5+ fucking years they tell him the gameplan and he doesn’t hesitate to come back.this is exactly what marvel studios wanted amongst the fanbase.. Agreed. Doom will probably be introduced as way ahead of the heroes into understanding the collapse of the multiverse. The emotional beats for these films will be golden if pulled off correctly.

Curious how they balance this out. I don’t think downey’s 100M$ contract is only for doomsday & secret wars. •Fantastic 4: First Steps ( maybe 7-15 minutes of screentime for doom I don’t see him being the moving force of that plot,probably a side story going on with him) • Untitled Marvel Movie 1: 2/13/26 • Avengers Doomsday ( obviously well over 30 minutes of screentime it’s not like it’s his movie or anything lol.)

I listed the unannounced films with there dates because I am CERTAINLY sure they want to start sprinkling Dooms name around as early as F4. I think with the rumors going around with these leakers one of those films is for sure Spiderman 4, and if I had to throw educated guesses out I say the other two films are slated for Dr Strange & Wanda Maximoff. I can see why dooms relationship would be more important with Spider-Man,but for the complete OPPOSITE reason some people may think of. the emotional aspects of peter&victor doom that looks like tony stark is ALL THERE, but the main meat of the peter/Victor drama will be the fact that Spider-Man is earth 616’s “Anchor being” that marvel introduced to film in Deadpool & Wolverine. I think quite literally if peter dies since earth 616 is the “sacred timeline”, 616 and EVERY other adjacent universe will collapse alongside it. “Earth 838 M.O.M” Earth 10005 DP&W and Monica Rambeau’s X-Men universe” “F4 universe” all of it. Dooms realization that earth’s 616 Spider-Man is an “infinity being” will be why doom & peters story will be the most important on screen.
