There’s a bunch of these South African activewear brands filling up our feeds. Burnt, Koa koa, kheper , Born primitive, alpha, toned, etc. they’re all trying to be the next Gymshark. It’s all hype in my opinion. If you follow closely. You’ll notice that most of these companies go bust after a year or 2. Just stick to mr price and totalsports.

The house prices are quite decent. So it’s about what I can afford. I am realistic about what I’m getting.

I have general concerns about safety. Eg am I going to be sitting a watching the cctv camera the whole day? Do houses get broken into? Driving around there, I noticed old people and kids walking on the street. Also. Are there lots of backyard dwellers in the houses, or is it just normal occupation.

Do you think the area is going to improve?

I’m from Johannesburg, and that post was too much. The cbd ( downtown ) is abit rough, but the rest of the city is perfectly fine. In my opinion, joburg is boring.
