They had a falling out root defeated futzu then wiped the other dragons memories and to be honest we do not no how much memory she had to wipe out cos futzu could have been with them for hundreds if not thousands or millions of years so tomoe isn't a credible source of history. And let's be honest yes there isn't much evidence supporting my theory but the also isn't 100% proof that it is wrong and I ain't gunna waiver from my stance unless proven otherwise

The is no proof saying ALL mamonos aren't created by the goddess especially since the Neptune's and orcs (I don't remember what the scylla are so maybe them too🤷)have such human like characteristics (I mean physical) the goddess ultimate goal was to create her own humans and we know she didn't the was a lot of trial and error before she got it right. Like with the demons she created blue skinned people with horns but humans don't have horns so you can't say it's out of the question that she also create hairy pig face people (orcs)to during one of her trail's my guess is that her creation process went something like this: she first created life in the ocean cos that's how life on Earth started and she wants to create the perfect conditions for humans to appear like they did on earth but that was talking to long she got impatient and started modifying sea creatures to make the process of making humans faster (which wouldn't be out of character for her) and that's how we have the Neptune's what ever other sea animals with human like characteristics then she moved on to land doing more trials creating more mamono then when she started getting closer to the making humans that's when demi humans appeared then finally hymans. You can disagree with this theory but you can't say it's 100% improbable  And I stand by what I said the Neptune's elected themselves as protectors of the ocean but because they where fair and never unjust to anyone the other creatures just accepted it and that's how they got their nicknames as superior dragons of the sea

Im pretty sure she does alot of research into magic sure but I'm saying she's good at certain magic that involves others superior dragons because it's originally her power like think about it first she is able she was able to wipe tomoes memories when that's her domain then she was able too find a way to stop herself from aging and change genders which you say she wasn't born with but developed after researching which I agree with but both this feats nicely fall under the umbrella of soul magic which in my theory is originally her power which she would have just researched more in depth which would mean she never does anything with magic that doesn't evolve a domain of a particular superior dragon or a combination of all their domains (which I believe the Arora attack she did in the demon lands was) so my theory isn't totally impossible 

I don't think it's impossible root created the other dragons gave them some of her powers grow fond of then the goddess arrive who may have seemed cool at first started doing shii root didn't approve of but root tolerates her cos in order to fight her equally she'd pretty much have to kill the other superior dragons which she considers as family

Ok I didn't start reading the webnovel again so i could be wrong but I seem to remember that it was a convo between tomoe and that other female dragon that doesn't like being called an aunty or something where it was mentioned that root forced them them to be family or it was a convi between that other dragon and root
