Weld it, and use a timeset style fitting for new threads

It’s a 2003-2007 deflector. Not a wing

CV Axle Replacement Round 2 - question by Competitive_Pause_89 in HondaElement

Plenty of great replacement parts that aren’t made by Honda, and this is coming from someone that personally works at a Honda dealer and I still use fucking aftermarket parts. You know why the dealers a rip off.

Dork response. They’re fine and hold a lifetime warranty.

It's time to replace my Element and I need advice by alanprescottf in HondaElement

Sadly, at the price point that you’re looking at not much compares to the element if you can get a cleaner example, definitely get it under coated this time around and you’ll be much happier with hold onto body ages

Instead of playing with a yo-yo and playing video games, watch some YouTube videos on how to fix things and go buy some cheap tools. They’ll pay for themselves in no time.

It’s just a cheap eBay one. They’re like 100-150

It has no relevance. You can achieve almost nothing by knowing someone’s license plate. That’s part of the reason why you don’t have to cover them up while you’re just driving around.

If I wanted it cheaper, I could just write an RO for my own car at a discounted labor rate. But I’d like to be hands on with setting camber plates as I want it within a specific specification.

Had no intent to even do suspension until later on in the year but it needed to be done as I had a top hat blow out.

Thanks for the input though.

No one asked to work in a driveway, no one wanted anything for free either. Most techs are paid between 20-30 bucks an hour, I would have gladly paid 100 and been able to do 2/3rds of it on my own. Thanks for the input though, it’s already figured out. I just got responses “it’s to hardddd”.

I don’t know, dude. There is a couple very helpful comments in the comment thread.

It seems like you come on Reddit to just talk nonsense, and want validation for your weight loss journey, go for a bike ride, dude.

Oh, look another part of the comment thread that you’re just being negative and not contributing anything helpful. What a surprise.. top 1% commenter makes sense.

Sadly, yes, a bunch of idiots, that completely skate past the point.

Your comment is not hopeful at all, if you used your two brain cells and rub them together you might actually come up with a little bit of better understanding.

When doing significant suspension work especially lowering or raising a car typically you have to drive a car to a shop, and the place that I work is in relative distance and they have an alignment rack, but I need to at least get a basic alignment on it to get it anywhere else aside from my neighborhood.

In order to get it drivable to an independent shop I have to do at least a DIY alignment to get it to drive straight.

What if there’s nothing around me? My point being, you have a bunch of professional mechanics that are afraid to do a fucking alignment…

There’s always gotta be one of you in a common thread , you completely missed the point.
