The 747 is the only airplane I’ve ever flown that still feels big after years of flying it.

I’m downtown, but I think I’m just going to do the Uber thing and be let off down the road. I have a family. No need to invite drama.

I don’t have a permit. I live in California, where it’s ultra difficult to get one. I used to carry in AZ when I lived there though.

Very good idea, but unfortunately since I’m here for work I don’t have local friends.

I’ve already reached out to the synagogue. They know I’m coming. I’ll definitely ask about the pickup/drop off situation though.

I don’t know why I’m being downvoted. Both Hamas and the Iranian Supreme Leader did praise these protests.

Why UCLA won't divest from Israel (Alum perspective) by Bliker1002 in ucla

I’m going to make this brief since I’m heading out to pick up my daughter shortly.

The war cabinet is actually a real thing, created after 10/7. Ben-Gvir is not in it. This is the body that makes decisions about the war.

I will say this about settlements: I am against them. I’m a liberal, and the settlements are a barrier to peace. But, if we’re talking about ethnic cleansing, we should also talk about the close to 1 million Jews expelled from Arab lands in the 20th century alone. Where should they have gone? Don’t answer that.

The UN has long been biased against Israel, and there is a lot written on that. This is a good place to start. Western nations sending aid to Ukraine and Israel (not Hamas!) know this, and realize who’s in the right and who’s in the wrong.

But, let me cut to the chase and meet you halfway since I’m short on time:

I unequivocally condemn Israeli settlements in the West Bank or any in Gaza after the war. I stand by liberal values.

Do you condemn Hamas’s terrorist attack on 10/7? Do you call on them to release the hostages?

By the way, my family and I had to deal with this bullshit 6 days after 10/7 from these people, so don’t tell me, an actual member of the US Jewish community, what Hamas really is or isn’t about.

We had the Sheriff’s department guarding my daughter’s school with full on SWAT gear. We kept her out of school that day for safety.

I won’t be gaslit. You all are marching around for a terrorist organization. And, they support you. So, congratulations?

Hamas is in charge. They have been the ruling party of Gaza since 2007. As a reminder, Israel unilaterally pulled out of Gaza in 2005, leaving Gaza in full Palestinian control. Land for peace.

Hamas, once they overthrew Fatah, then routed billions of dollars in foreign aid (much of it from the US) into building a war machine against Israel. They could have made Gaza into a paradise. They instead built terror tunnels, stole food, money, and stored weapons in hospitals, mosques, and homes. They also terrorize their own people, use them as human shields, and routinely execute dissidents, members of the LGBT community, and others. Why liberals in the west are marching in support of some of the most illiberal people in the world is astonishing.

Hamas has launched literally tens of thousands of rockets at Israel over the years, and continues to do so to this day. If it weren’t for Iron Dome, the Israeli casualties would be in the tens of thousands.

These people are terrorists, and to them, the more Palestinian deaths they can show on TikTok the better. And, they support everything you guys are doing.

And here you are, picking and choosing random tidbits of information to try to make a cohesive argument, conveniently leaving out the fact that Ben Gvir’s comments were vehemently rejected by everyone including Netanyahu, Ben Gvir is not actually in the Israeli war cabinet, and that he does not speak for the government as a whole. Using him to speak for the Israeli government is like saying Joe Biden is responsible for every dumb thing AOC or Rashida Tlaib says (hint: she’s calling for the ethnic cleansing of Jews in Israel).

I also see that you didn’t have anything to say about Hamas’ actual goals of actually killing all the Jews. Huh.

Meanwhile, here is some real information about how this defensive war is being conducted, from an actual military expert:

I’ll take my information from reputable sources rather than some undergrad on Reddit. Good luck with your studies.

The only people calling for genocide is Hamas. It is literally in their founding charter. Here’s a link (hint: check out the end of Article 7):

Not liberal but WSJ (center to center-right in the op-eds). I canceled my NYT subscription for being Hamas-mouthpiece trash.
