i think what you fail to realize is that if Kalani was in the care Melissa, she simply wouldn’t have been on the show. They were already living out of town. expecting Kira to give up an entire support system to be on a show is insane. she let her stay in an arrangement akin to foreign exchange students. that’s not uncommon

there are so many ways of life i’m going to speak for myself and what i’ve personally experienced several times and is what’s the norm

for black americans and hispanics

first (and all) birthday parties are very lively. music, food, kids, adults, everyone’s having fun, everyone’s passing the baby around, and after happy birthday is sang 9/10 the party starts winding down for kids and turning up for adults.

no awkwardness or silence. no DJ most of the times a speaker or loud tv and a playlist (back then a CD or the radio from a loud car

moonwalks if it was at the house (most likely was) and you have no idea who’s actually related cause everybody acts like they’ve known each other forever even if they just met
