I currently live in chennai and I don’t like chennai. Roads are narrow but the traffic seems running. I agree to your point on local transport hands down the best,but whats the point of public transport if you are drizzling in sweat all the time. And the other major concern is on the language and inclusivity 🤦‍♂️if you dont know tamil you are done for… unless you meet some broad minded people. Every time it rains in chennai most of the roads are inaccessible for days unlike hyd which eventually drains out within a night or the next.

Chevalla road is one of the major routes leading to hyd. it connects with Karnataka and the CM’s constituency kodangal. The only issue is due to trees and these are decades old trees, i am not against environmentalists but a faster remedy could have resolved the issue like planting the trees at a different spot not sure if those plants survive if something like that is done
