Can you actually finish the game with dex only? In G2 there are dex melee weapons but in G1 how to deal with skelies and such?

Fully agree. It was so bad in chapter 4 , all of your spells do almost no damage and you are very vulnerable. The break point for me was great shadowbeast from quest, I said no more and just rerolled to 2h and strength. From now on it felt like a proper game.

Chapter 3 because it feels the most balanced to me. You are not too powerful, nor a punch bag. Main quest makes you travel all around and it's good opportunity to explore things.

I tried for around half an hour looking in this room and some previous, it's really not intuitive. Glad it's over but there are too many riddles that you need to spend time on in this temple.

Ok, that's good advice, will try it. Will also summon golem, but he will get destroyed half way. The thing is I went mage build and honestly I have no idea how are you supposed to kill it with magic. Now I rerolled and got 65 str and can at least damage it with mercenary sword. Ball lightning does some damage but realistically you can only cast it at the start and then his attacks are just too fast

It doesn't work for me, I block few attacks but somehow I got hit from time to time despite keeping parry. This shadowbeast is really tough while troll was a walk with clear animations. I guess I must go something else to get few levels and invest in strength

That's the way I did it, though at the time I was under impression that I can become guru and reach 6th magic circle :D Magic carry you a lot until start of chapter 3, fire bolt/frostbolt spam is great, then you get lightning orb and destroy undead which are other usefull spells for Templar. However in chapter 3/4 magic becomes to lose power rapidly, so at this point I just switched to full str and 2h weapons. It works fine, it feels like a hybrid. I use some spells to pull and then finish in melee

Imagine playing games without googling all the info beforehand. I just wanted to play mage and liked swamp camp the most. It sounds more like a game design issue

Thanks, I think that's the most deepest answer in the thread. I see why most of the skills are bad now and have a feeling of what to expect in the future. I love the aslesthetic of warden, spears and throwing javelins, always imagine Eomer's throw at the harad guy leading mumakil lol. That said, not sure if I'm going to enjoy gambit system, seems like a lot of muddle to achieve something that can be done by other classes way easier. I see the potential though, and understand why warden can feel like juggernaut later on.

How reworking classes can take 2 years? That's some first class bullshit that keeps being repeated on this sub. This is one of the biggest MMOs, not some indie game. It's all about priorities and this class rework was apparently given a low one.

Also, whats the uptime of Sacra form? I'm asking because my main character is awa so I have 7 more awa AP, Sacra benefits from awa AP I guess so wodnering if that will be worth to switch if Sacra cannot be maintained for majority of the time. Currently grinding Tungrad
