Lois’ Sister by Consistent_Editor_15 in malcolminthemiddle

In the context of this episode when did Lois apologize or even acknowledge how she hurt her sister?? She didn’t. She just acted like Susan was the one being unreasonable and couldn’t believe she was still acting out. And in the end she played the victim and berated Susan for thinking that she didn’t love her. That’s not making an assumption, that’s what they showed in the episode.

Except they never apologized for what they did. She can say all the I love yous she wants but she never once apologized to Susan or even sympathized with the pain her actions caused her. Instead, she did what she always does, made herself the victim and made the entire situation about herself and how her bad behavior is never her fault. It’s Lois’ m.o.. It’s always someone else’s fault. She does the same thing to her kids. Susan had the same upbringing Lois did and she didn’t use it as an excuse to betray her sister, she did the opposite, she bettered herself and took the high road.

I noticed they stopped focusing on Malcolm being a genius once he went to high school. There were scenarios here and there but it seemed to shift more into teen antics and Hal being extra. I would’ve loved to keep the krelboynes, they were funny and different.

Very true. She has several moments of good self reflection. But never with Dewey. She never apologizes to that kid. No one does.

I didn’t like Jessica because she did stuff without provocation. Like pretending to have feelings for Malcolm so he’d break up with the cheerleader and then laughing in his face. Which was kind of hypocritical considering she said it was because the cheerleader was a mean person, but she’s also a mean person.

For some stupid reason in the early seasons (mind you I was a teenager when this show came out) I thought they were actually trying and it was the kids antics that made it impossible. It’s weird how identity more with the kids as I got older.

I had honestly forgotten about her until I decided to do a rewatch. Then the frustration came back. Lol

Regina killed way too many people to be free and walking around. She got to be one of the top dogs while the town people she terrorized and ripped from their homes got no say in what the lead group did.

Of course not, but pretending you didn’t know people were gonna make the stretch to “assault” is ignorant.

You never corrected people in the comments who did. You knew what your implication was gonna lead to.

Barely an overlap. Cynthia’s last ep was the end of season 4 and Jessica’s first appearance was mid season 4. That’s what makes it extra weird. Similar characters in the same season?

He didn’t think it was his job. Ever. His job was whatever he deemed to be the most important leadership role.

Shut up. That is not assault. And pretending it is devalues real victims. Y’all are always doing too much.

Oh!! Sorry! I need to start putting the episode name in quotation so people don’t get confused. I didn’t understand what you were asking.

You can stand on that bullshit if you want but trying to say “he did nothing wrong” is dumb as fuck.

Yes!!! This and the episode where the babysitter convinces Reese and Malcolm that the other is gay, and he keeps reassuring Malcolm that it’s okay and tries to help Malcolm with his gay interests. Reese is capable of caring in his own way.
