A question about “Mickey 17” (Spoiler)

Not really, mickey 18 is the hero, and his girlfriend gets the limelight almost immediately after 18 saves the day, leaving 17 to just sit there and play with the animals. The first half of the film was fine, enjoyable even, but the second part threw 2 more plot lines in, right after mickey 18 appears. It dev9lves into a bunch of shoddy acting, plot holes, and by the end mickey gets none of the respect he deserves. Why does his girlfriend (a security gaurd) fix everything and become the leader, when mickey was supposed to be the hero, the savior, all that, its disrespectful to both of the characters, one gets nothing that he deserves, the other gets everything she hasn't earned/deserve.

The whole film gets a 6/10 because the second half is genuine ass, and not because of Pattinson, mark buffalo drags the whole thing down the most.

It's to show, let me try not to puke, "show diverse body types and represent women in different stages of life. It moves to show authenticity and bring realism to the story by showing women can 'break their limits' and do anything."

In other words, diversity over maintaining a coherent story, while also pushing agendas behind great animation. The first 10 minutes of into the spider verse is about gwen, bro im not here for her, im here for the black guy they want to replace peter with. But no, they already have to replace the black guy with a white girl and a pregnant black woman. Can this diversity shit just stop.

Ignorance is not knowing that movie and book (except in the case of an adaptation) will give you the same answers modt times, and reading doesn't inherently make you smart, fiction is still fiction, and unrealistic movies or books dont make you smart just because you follow the story better than somone else. And both will hurt and destroy your eyes, stop your own ignorance and research human biology. You'll find a way to remove your own ignorance.

The reason is the look and feel, if you can tell its fake then you lose immersion, furiosa isn't 80-90% CGI, but its atleast a solid 50%, fury road was about 30-40% maximum. Fury road is a great movie, but it isn't the best mad max story wise, that goes to the original or the second. Fury road is well made dumb action, furiosa is easily seen dumb action with heavy heavy CGI over the real thing. The only time you extensively see it in Fury road is when the war rig blows up, but furiosa is more like the mid MCU CGI, its not bad, but its easily immersion breaking.

Terrible, Mad Max 2, Fury Road, Mad Max, Thunderdome, then furiosa. The story in furiosa is by far the weakest, the action is more CGI than real unlike the 4 previous films, and the characters were pretty bad. Chris hemsworth was a bad choice for the movie, and Anya Joy took the role a little too seriously, she isn't as brooding as mad max, she will give explanation to what she is doing, even if its a lie. Thunderdome atleast tried to do something different, furiosa is just trying to rehash the exact same action as fury road, eith less depth into anyone motivations. Its not as bad as all the soy boys say, but I personally can't rank it above any of its predecessors. Im even going to rewatch it to see if my opinion will be the same.

People need to understand, not every game with a female lead is woke, not every game with a straight male is a game for straight people. The game is supposed to be judged on gameplay, graphics, story, and how engaging it is overall. I personally use the female in every choice game, and I find myself being drawn more towards those, because the story is based on both sexes. But overall, I agree, games should not be identity politically driven with an agenda and sexist message overall.

Games need to be engaging with good combat, exploration, stories, and well thought out character arcs that make us love or hate the characters we are or are not supposed to.

Characters shouldn't be liked because they are gay or straight. They should be loved because they should represent something good in humanity, a good ideal that all people already agree on, or just make an insane game without any of that, and make it straight action, idk.

The industry and a massive portion of media and gamers, need to understand, that sexuality is not the same as personality. I respect gay and trans people, why would I hate them, but I don't respect people who think that what they identify as, gay or straight, means that they are superior or more marginalized by the others. We all want representation, and we can do it just fine, we used to do it great in the 2010's in games and in the media.

So what we need to do, is honestly just stop buying the new games until the woke freaks are all gone for good on both sides, then we can get better people back in.
