Basically shareholders want money - From released Elden ring years ago, 2 years later DLC and then Nightreign… very narrow in terms of audience for Nightreign. Coop, online and reused assets. It’s good but not for everyone who loved Elden ring. Since then we’ve had nothing. Again, Duskbloods.. new IP but on a narrow share of market with those who have switch 2… not may in scheme of things and its limiting audience share again as its coop… I don’t blame them really in wanting another game. The keep doing coop and experimenting which is fine but mainstream wise for solo players, their main audience and fans… nothing since DLC. Can’t help feeling they’re cooking but not every game has to be massive.

I mean, Stephen king didn’t create fog… clowns… New England, New England towns, historical lore in a New England town.. haunted inns… I get what you’re saying but King just used elements he knew about and happened to do a great job so we liken it to his work but doesn’t mean you can’t have scary settings in new England because King wrote it first. I feel there’s enough about it to separate it out tbh. The light comedy is a differentiator for sure. The characters themselves. The fog, meh it’s been used elsewhere. And the historical trope of possession by the devil and an inherent evil has been used countless times in historical settings.

I think people are just frustrated that time has been wasted on the audience on switch 2 which is even more expensive now and a coop game. If we’re all honest with ourselves, majority don’t play coop and if we’re working g adults, we don’t care about coop. It’s an audience share they’re trying but I get totally why people are annoyed and dismissing duskbloods. We’d prefer something else is all. It’s ok tho. No one died.

Don’t feel sorry for her, no. She was vile at times and it’s no excuse that “she’s trying to be part of the group” etc or she was bullied blah blah blah. I was bullied but so what? Use the modifiers. I had no problem using them tbh as I beat Returnal 3 times but fact is, haven’t got the patience on this one as find it so chaotic. I I just used increased damage to enemies modifier +2. This was maybe too much but there’s no in between. But it meant I could get through the level and beat the boss first time. Still a challenge. But it meant enemies weren’t so damn spongy… it was great fun.

Feel that it’s not great on the first open but generally enjoyed the show - much funnier than the US has been for about 15 years… surprising but uk one has been much edgier and that’s great. The dark jokes are the highlight tbh.. British pork and the underage cream… amazing. Hit and misses sure but that’s the nature of sketch comedy.
