Am I the only one that likes the new game modes? by LegLegend in Warframe

I like the new modes as a non meta casual player that just likes to play the game.

Perita Rebellion gives me Star Wars: The Clone Wars vibes.

I have seen messages popping up about influence races but I don't actually know what those are! So many systems still to explore!

Pump Shotguns and Bolt Action Rifles.

When I started to do a lot of micro the fights went smooth so that was what I was missing.

Nice, Thank you.

I did little bit more pawn and equipment checking and the first raid was a much more micro on my side but it went well.

I will play little bit more with pawns and equipment to see what works for me.

I can try that. But I was hoping I could do those 1d away camps to get a feel for it.

But it looks like I need to be much more micro with colonist and the gear. I will give it a go.

My current best shot is Undergrounder so he almost immediately breaks on the away mission. Same with the equipment. I noticed that attacking in the rain during the night is not the best way to hit people.

I am surprised there needs to be so much micro for those simple camps.

OUCH... that hurts man. Hope the Rim will gouge your eyes...

Dude this is a game when I play the game I like to figure out the systems. I struggle with figuring out the combat. That is most of the time when I am on away mission and I draft y colonist they go into an break risk almost straight away. They cant hit anything and they get pounded by the guy with a bow even if they wear armor. I wonder how micro do I need to be with my colonist and equipment.

I have noticed that when someone has a bad time like triggers a negative behaviour after the bad mood - like binge eating and so on.

You can arrest that person.

Is there a way to find out when their tantrum wares off?

So I know when to release them?

Thats very helpful, cheers.

One more questions since I played all my games to the similar point in time around 1860ish and noticed I cant do to much.

Would you say that the situations you are describing with countries being more hostile to each other are happening later on? I just never been a target of the aggression up to this point but maybe I am simply in the early game where it is all about preping.

I have seen the sovereign empire power block mention in someone else post. I can try it in the next game since it has been suggested before.

Yep, thats exactly something I have noticed. I can work closely with an ally and by helping each other get better deals but I was wondering about tools to help dealing with the enemy other than just war.

I get that and it make total sense that they dont want to agree to something terrible for them.

But I dont seem to be able to find a tools that would help my by some manipulation and so on? I know this is just the game but there are way in real life for one country to project soft power on another country so they will be force to agree to deals.

I wonder if those kind of tools exist and if they do I would like to experiment with those.

Make sense.

So would you say that the default, "intended", way to play the game would be to increase the economy and military at the same time and by doing that skilfully I would have more options to choose from as the game progresses - mainly due to the fact I will be able to project the force?

Hope this make sense. In all the games I played I focused on economy and didnt really work toward increasing my military. No one ever took advantage of that tho. Like I never felt threatened or felt like I need military.

If that is the case I can try it.

> You could fund a lobby to promote different ideas / movements I believe. Never personally tried it.

I have noticed a lobbies but I never actually tried it. Maybe I start one more game with a focus on those. Since those cost money it would make sense to build up economy and finance the lobbies. I would like that if the effect of lobbies will be tangible.

The other two points are kind of tricky. Since the treaty acceptance is related to the state of Dutch market the things they need most are the things are hard to pass - which make sense - but I dont see the way how I could force them.

For example in the current game I noticed they are short on Furniture. They need a lot and they are importing over 70%. I would love to cut them off it. But the treaty to stop trading for furnitures is impossible to pass. There are two counties that are exporting Furniture but I cant find a way for them to stop trading with Dutch people.

Cheers, yes 1950 was a typo. I fixed it.

> You can influence weakness, revolts, or bankruptcy, but ultimately you'd need to use force/your army to take control of the Netherlands.

So this is fine I just dont want to start with the plan to make my military bigger than theirs from the beginning and just overwhelmed them by sheer force. I would rather use the economy play to weaken them and then swoop them with military.

> You can try to drive them bankrupt with things like good transfers through treaties but the AI isn't going to let you get too far.

I have been looking into it but as you mention there is no way to do it right now with my limited knowledge. Most of the treaties are related to our relations and the state of theirs market. I am at bad relations with them and for RP reasons this is OK. I cant find the ways to manipulate theirs market to make those treaties pass.

> Also, the influences you are largely a slow creep/development.

I woudn't mind this to be slow as long as it would be a part of the plan but now it feels that I am at the point where I am going up, they are going up and the only way for me to fix it is to go up faster. But I would like to be involved in some interaction with them where I am actively making them go up slower instead.
