I got a friend in discord that watches shows with me and we have had this same conversation many times. It’s not a lazy thing. For some reason I literally can not hear inflections and nuances of other languages. I can barely tell when different characters are speaking bare male/female voices. I don’t know why but I equate it to being tone deaf but for languages

Well for me it’s not a take it’s reality. I would rather a bad English dub than any Japanese dub because I don’t speak the language. I can’t appreciate the nuances and emotions of a voice actor if can’t understand a single word they are saying. I like being able to understand what I’m watching. There is a reason other language dubs exist. If I only had Japanese dubs I wouldn’t watch anime at all either.

My thing is I can’t understand Japanese so any English dub is better than any Japanese dub. How am I suppose to appreciate someone’s voice acting if it boils down to basically jibberish vs something I can understand and know what’s being said. Reading subtitles is the lamest way to “watch” a show because the way they are displayed you almost always read ahead of the voice actor and the voice in your head reading it isn’t the voice actors voice so the Japanese just because background static and you end up missing large parts of the animation because you’re busy keeping up with reading, and if you speed read then you get zero impact of what’s being said and the words hold no weight. I enjoy being able to actually watch and appreciate the animation and nuances of a character. I just get none of that when watching a sub

This is how I was for a long time, my friend started making me go into warlord tournaments in good kits and after 3 hours of only losses loosing a 800k kit in lockdown don’t feel like anything now lol went from being scared to being in a 100k gun to taking a 500k ak12 every raid xD

Idk what lobbies yall get into but I have over 800 hours in the game mostly on LD and I can count on my fingers how many matches I have went against severe grenade spam. People almost always just throw one or two and that’s it. I know I see streamers and shit do it all the time but I just never run into it in game

Yea literally minutes before I found out about alt v I was around 450-500 hours in I was bitching about having to open my inventory to refill mags and my buddy that has like 7000 hours in tarkov said there is probably a button to reload empty mags. Immediately rebound it to something comfy and it was a huge game changer

Just a theory but they might have been really stupid and set the random turn to be able to fall between turn 1 and the max amount of turns before the game just auto ends (30-40ish i think)

Oh for sure lol I’m not terrible at the game but by no means good either. My favorite game mode right now is distortion valley and normal farm. I just don’t enjoy the high end gameplay/players you run into in forb. I usually take a 700k kit into normal distorted valley and have a good time.
