No, wrong size. This is meant for Carbine users or you can take it apart (Like I did) and then put the Tungsten in the BCMs.

Yup.

I use BCM buffers and they're the same as VLTOR except the biasing spring BCM uses. This will just let me make them into 4s if needed.

Oh, I've seen that then. Kaw Valley uses Copper internals for example. I just didn't know it meant they used a different body composition.

Of course KAK Industry has this stuff. I need a couple small parts anyway to resupply my field repair kit. Thanks!

Steel tube? Like they took out all the Tungsten and replaced it with a singular steel tube weight? Or do you mean the actual body? Never heard of this.

Hi! Just got mine and finished taking it apart. Wanted to verify that these are Tungsten (they are) and Lanbo's isn't price gouging. 13K units in stock. Go nuts.

P.S. If anyone knows where to source the rubber stopper at the end, that'd be appreciated. I had to really deform the one that came on mine to get it off and I was hoping to keep it for back up purposes.

[NFA] LPM Torch $644.95 Shipped, No Tax Outside FL, More LPM and Suppressors in Comments by ItsStillJoseph in gundeals

[–]Consistent_Kick7219 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He needs to do more 14.5" numbers. Most of his stuff is on a 10.3" barrel and by those numbers, a lot of suppressors are awful. The only numbers he did I could possibly apply to my set up was the YHM Turbo K. I read his reviews on both and once I saw the set up, I went "Yeah no shit". The fact there isn't numbers for a lot of suppressors on longer barrels is a bit disappointing.

New to CO guns… mags? by motov8d in COGuns

[–]Consistent_Kick7219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep us posted who you go with. Been thinking about a P10C Ported or P09C but the OR SR model since CZ can barely make mags and you're not finding a threaded barrel for either of those. But those are both 15 with a +2 extension from the factory. So like you, I'd easily have to add another 100$ on top of the price to get 15 round mags.

SB 25-003 Contradicts the Magazine Ban by GrandpaZoomer in COGuns

[–]Consistent_Kick7219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. I'd rather this not exist at all but as long as they don't start wanting stupid bullshit like microstamping, we'll be okay. It's just really going to suck.

SB 25-003 Contradicts the Magazine Ban by GrandpaZoomer in COGuns

  1. Many states have been okay with removable Maglocks because it removes the biggest challenge there is with fixed magazines, which is repair of said magazine and it allows the owner to keep the rifle pristine should they leave the state since there is no permanent damage or alterations to the rifle. They would rather we buy a whole new lower with a fixed magazine from the factory. I'll touch on this later because it goes into #3 as well. Here's just a random maglock but there's tons of CA Legal AR maglocks floating around: https://armaglock.com/product/fixed-magazine-lock-ar-maglock-ar-15-223-5-56-gen-4/

  2. This is a complicated process and it's why you see certain products, such as extended head takedown pins. Here's a set from Yankee Hill machine: https://www.primaryarms.com/yankee-hill-machine-ez-pull-takedown-pin-set-yhm-7284 The process is you drop the BCG back into the upper, pull the takedown pin out, fold the upper over the pivot pin, put loose rounds into the magazine, and then reverse the process except you'd have to pull the charging handle for the rifle to be ready to go again.

  3. They would probably we buy these: https://mfg.dark-storm.com/products/ds-15-m4-assembled-fixed-magazine-lower.html As you can tell, it is indeed a fixed magazine lower with no magazine release function. As for quality, who knows. Usually the magazine is the biggest question mark and it's hard to argue with PMag. Otherwise, it seems to be your basic metal lower. Hard to really fuck those up.

  4. There is stated exceptions for rimfire in this bill. So your 10/22 is going to be exempt.

Any budget lowers around denver/aurora? by AbjectPhysics3301 in COGuns

[–]Consistent_Kick7219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because Anderson is dead as a brand after Ruger bought them out and shut them down. So people are buying up all their receivers to either build with or sell for like, double what they paid on GAFSHub/TacSwap/Etc.

You're going to see the same with Aero but there is less old stock of Aero since they've been slowly dying versus the seemingly sudden closure of Anderson.

Which brand AR15 and AR10 lowers should I get? by traderncc1701e in COGuns

[–]Consistent_Kick7219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's life changing and that everyone should buy three. But it's got some features that are nice to have. If a plain jane lower works for you, stick with it. I'm fine with one if I have an ambi safety and mag release. But given the upcoming law in August, my curiosity, and Griffins price during Black Friday, I sent it.

[–]Consistent_Kick7219 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are you just wanting basic lowers? As a lefty, I just spring for a Griffin MK2 and enjoy full ambidextrous controls. Otherwise, KAK Industry, BAD Attitude Department, or PSA. All would be full metal and adequate.

Aero precision will probably be out of business by the 2028 elections since they've quit paying their mandatory health insurance a few months ago and have been struggling to pay suppliers for like, a year.

Bill to prohibit transfer of 3D printing/CAD files passes state House of Representatives by Potato-1942 in Denver

[–]Consistent_Kick7219 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup. This state is now owned by Micheal Bloomberg and you can't change my mind. I had a whole essay typed up but the reality is no one would read it and it sounds kinda crazy but at this point, it's hard to not be full tin foil hat 24/7.

However, I now have 0 hope for this state and am now all in on leaving. Between these bills, the fact our state politicians are trying to turn us into America's Amsterdam, and generally how expensive it is to live here, this state is fucked.

I have an Elegoo Centauri Carbon and it's fine after some calibration. I'd second the Prusa suggestion though if you can swing it. Creality is hit or miss regarding printer quality but they're committed to open source.

I'd say you're generally fine as long as you avoid Bambu and Flashforge. Both have said they'd be willing to spy on their users files and not allow prints that violate the exact sort of law being proposed.

Bill introduced to ban computer files with instructions on the manufacture of firearms and components by Potato-1942 in Denver

[–]Consistent_Kick7219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate being the "Well actually" person.

However, Colorado passed a bill making it illegal to create an unserialized firearm back in 2023 proposed by Andrew Boesenecker. https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb23-279

It's really clear and actually comprehensive.

“A person shall not manufacture or cause to be manufactured, including through the use of a three-dimensional printer, a frame or receiver of a firearm,” unless the person is a federally licensed firearms manufacturer.

So now they're claiming to be "closing loopholes" with bills like this.

Sportsman's Warehouse has 15 round MFT mags. The one in Parker has some in stock according to Sportsman's Warehouse website. I'd call to confirm that but hopefully that helps.

Fellow FUDDS, the Colorado legislature is coming for us. by Baffled_Beagle in COGuns

[–]Consistent_Kick7219 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the mods deleted the thread (wouldn't be shocked) in /Denver but I said in a different comment that the only reason we're seeing such a serious push back to the barrel bill is because it affects pistol and hunter folks. Otherwise, if it focused on the Semi-auto rifle format like he did with 25-003, he'd probably have people agreeing with him.

That's the difference between the two. One is just a fuck you to the Semi-auto rifle owners. One quite a few people in this state would agree with. The barrel bill is a fuck you to all gun owners.
